Not missing the point, replying to your comment saying that your points should "suffer" when you yourself only played 46 games. He shouldn't have "missed" the playoffs. He CLINCHED a playoff spot at 41 games, how the hell can he "miss" the playoffs? I would be crying too if it happened to me lol. Raph has already played his series anyway. Freydey should really be 8th seed and not 6th seed but why would anyone who decided to incorporate the winning percentage system in for the lower seeds decide to match himself against Freydey after finishing 1st in the league

Not "a lot" of DNP. He played 41 games while you played 46.. Simple rule should be : if you clinch a playoff spot, you're in. Players not even CLOSE to the 8th seed make it in because all they had to do was play their games? They don't even have to worry about winning a lot. You can win 33% of your games and make it in to the playoffs. That's pathetic. Not only does that player not deserve to be in the playoffs, he also gets a lower draft pick than he should get.

Not the deadlines.. The penalties are what is a problem. Frey didnt meet all the deadlines thus 6th seed. That's already a penalty, this -2 pts for every DNP is so ridiculous lol give me a break.

Yeah it makes me wonder, if so many people have played then why do we even have the DNP penalties? 2 PTS is wayy too much for every game not played when everyone had over 40 GP

Yeah they need some exceptions or a better method to decide the seeds, this penalty where you lose 2 DNP is way too rough. Frey was the GDL 8 champ and he was on vacation and had to deal with school, he played 41 games and had 18 points over jay. It really is rough.

Houly can be irritating but it is still fun playing with him. I had more fun playing Wags than I did playing Robbie. It may not be fun for some people to TALK to Houly but really lol who cares. Even if houly is "irritating" he's still valuable to a league. If you ask someone to be in a league the first thing they'll usually ask is "Who else is playing" because they don't want to play against a bunch of junk players. They don't really care who it is as long as they have skill and I feel that's how it should be.

I already said this, I'll make the edit. There is no order you have to play anyone, as long as it's not the same person twice in a row.

Weird, IMO when it comes to sports many will agree the trash talk is one of the best parts of it when playing. In person the trash talk is just perfect and it's just as sexy over something like XBOX Live. But here, a great counter-arguement to my point is that it's so simple to keep what you have to say to yourself as you have to actually type it to the person instead of just reacting to what happens. So it is easy to be "respectful" but I know some of the "respectful" people here would be just as bad as me if we were to play in person. It's common for people to get angry when they lose. A GAME against a little sweetie pie who sucks isn't really better than someone with bad behaviour but is good just because the guy was respectful. If you're competitive you always want to play competition over behaviour. Another example is for me in gym class at school, the kids who say "It's just a game" are the ones you DO NOT want to play with because more than 99% of the time they're the ones who are garbage at whatever you're playing while the ones who swear and get mad when you make them lose are the ones you DO want to play with because they are the ones who are actually good. Those guys are what keeps the gym class good anyway lol you can't hate on them.

Houly is a good guy but a couple of people here are way too sensitive for an online community. It's very easy to ignore Houly if he's trying to get under your skin. Not to mention he's fn hilarious. The guy is happy to play me all the time even if it means he's losing all of the exis Stuff on the ice should matter way more. People pausing when you have the puck and just being a cheeser while in-game is what should get people banned, like mav. Not because you wanted to drop a league or make some Cory guy waste 20 minutes of his life. I already had to miss GENS C playoffs because of an opponent pausing the game randomly and unpausing to score game winners and there was not even the slightest punishment. My opponent said it was a mistake which is fine with me, but there was no punishment. The things that should be taken more seriously are taken way too lightly and the things that should be taken lightly are taken too seriously.

But what sense does it make to ban someone in a league that is designed for competition over fun because he's a poor sport? You will ALWAYS have a poor sport in a competitive league, that's how competitive people are. The fact is Houly is way more valuable than most people here and what will happen if we unban him? Nothing bad and very very likely something good as he will improve the community. The guy is not going to murder us all if unbanned. What can he do at worst, refuse to play games? Cool we already have worse people who refuse games aswell. Silly then just mix the leagues. Houly is not your poor sport who will pause in game and scream because he's losing.

Yeah and that's banning from the forum and not Classic. The risk of letting Houly play classic is so small. He'll probably finish the league with no complaints and if he doesn't, the solution is so easy as you just have to replace him. It's not like we'll have to find the Boston Bombing suspects lol just replace him with some B guy if you need too.
