  1. Hello Fellow NHL95ers!!! I'm making this post for anyone who has been inspired by all the hard work from the members across this site have done. This is my little way of giving back to help someone else along the way. A huge thanks to @kingraph @smozoma @wboy @Jkline3 @Asher413 @slapshot67 and many others, who I've missed - I apologize in advance. I've included in the zip file with a step-by-step word document, and the programs I've used to create my material. Most of the material has been shared before from @kingraph mapping list of NHL95, @smozoma Ditherer program, @wboy NOSE program, and @Asher413 knowledge of schedules.   2. Hi everyone! So, just like in past years, I am posting my NHL94 2021 edition ROMs (various updates throughout the season). About the ROM: *32 teams. Seattle Kraken are included. The team contains players from the Seattle Metropolitans circa 1917-1919. *The ROM is based off of the Slapshot67 32-team template. *60 Min. OT. *The ROM has the "weight bug fix". *The "stamina hack" is available on the Playoff Version only. The is a non-stamina hack playoff version as well. *The ROM has Clockwise's sprite patch. *The rom has the WAS/WPG freeze bug. When corrected, it causes an issue for the playoff mode. If you use Kega Fusion, it will not freeze the player cards for those teams. *Uniforms have been updated for Calgary, Ottawa, Buffalo and Colorado. Calgary and Ottawa are going retro this season and Buffalo is returning to their royal blue color. Colorado will wear blue helmets and pants. The retro Sens and Flames logos have been added for team selection and center ice. *Lines/d pairs may not accurate, in several cases, especially, for teams who have coaches who change them every five minutes. Feel free to change them to what you'd like them to be. The opening night players are all there for you to select. There are some "taxi squad" folks as well (but not all). *Injured/COVID-affected players expected/rumored to be returning during the season are in the active rosters for line changes. If someone is confirmed as being out for the season (Kucherov, for example) they will be on the roster but inactive for anything but NLC. UPDATE - 5/19/21: Kucherov has been added back into the active roster in the Playoffs Edition. Anywho... enjoy!   3. To piggy back on @Asher413 progress. Ive done some work and found the following works for all schedule sizes. Tested season lenghts of 5, Asher413 -8, 14, 22, 29, 36, 44, 50, Asher413- 56, 60, 75, 82, and even 90. Here is the breakdown from 8DD9 -- 9722. - Consists of 2377 bytes (00) - 192 days – October 5th to April 14th – April 15th begins the playoffs. - 7 – 00 days Nov, 12th, Dec 24th, 25th, January 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd These 7 empty days are automatically added to the beginning of the schedule if it is reduced from the original 84. Depending on how many games the season will have is how many 00 you will have in addition to the 7 original 00s. Lets say, the season starts Dec 1st - October has 27, since season starts on the 5th, plus 30 in November. Which gives you 57+7 that must be added automatically. - Gives you 64x 00s to start the season @ HxD 8DD9. After creating the schedule, paste it after the last 00 from the beginning of the season. MAKE SURE that you don’t surpass a total of 192 days. Like the example above for Dec 1st. If you are planning on starting that day, than you only have 135 days remaining to create the schedule (December 31 days, January 31 days, February 28 days, March 31 days and April 14)

  5. I agree with you, that's the main reason I developed the editor for Genesis. I will look at the SNES version, I'm curious now. But yes, definitely possible, I'm assuming the player attributes will be in different places which will take some figuring out. One of the other members asked about updating the names in Genesis 98 so I'm currently working on that now. But I will def look into the file structure of SNES Madden 98......

  6. Hi Everyone! I took my NHL94 2021 rom (the Slapshot67 template) and converted it to 3v3 play (file posted below the notes). Some notable changes/fixes/updates: *The game no longer freezes during the Ron Barr/Tonight's Match message screen. Special thanks to Seamor and Smozoma for their findings and post on how to limit player cards on this screen. That was the cause of the freeze in past versions. *Like the above, I limit the player cards in the Team Selection pages. You now see one Dman, a winger, a center and a goalie. *Powerplays are 4 on 3. Penalties are 1 min in length. *You can now edit/update PP units in the game. In the past, because I would only show one Dman, if I had a second on the PP point, you couldn't see them in the Line Editor. You would have to download NOSE to see them and edit accordingly. To remedy it, I simply show 1 D and 3 wingers. This way, you can edit one of the 4 within the game. *Periods are 3, 5, 7 and 10 minutes. *Each team has 6 forwards, 3 Dmen and 2 goalies to chose from when editing lines. *32 NHL Teams. The Seattle Kraken are included in this rom. I retired the Mystery, Alaska team (from prior 3v3 roms). *The Seattle Kraken contains players from the Seattle Metropolitans circa 1917-1919. Known bugs: *WSH/WPG Freeze Bug if you cycle player cards, on the Team Selection page, for both Washington and Winnipeg. If you use Kega Fusion, as an emulator, it will not freeze. *If your team has two players penalized, the powerplay becomes 4 on 2. However, since penalties are only 1 min in length, it shouldn't be a big deal. It adds to the excitement. LOL *Due to how the game must be edited in Hex Code, the checking line, when you play with "line changes on", becomes the top line ("Scoring Line 1). So, I renamed the checking line to say Sc.1 when editing in-game. The original Scoring 1 becomes Sc.2 and Scoring Line 2 becomes Sc.3 (with line changes on). I use the same PP and PK lines, for each instance, so I renamed them to PP and PK instead of PP1/PP2 and PK1/PK2. *The in-game line editor and team roster view, when line changes are on, sorts as Sc2., Sc3. and Sc1. for the 3 lines. Just keep that in mind when you do in-game changes. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! NHL94 2021 3v3.bin
