ya that sucks Deer. Although you may get a win by forfeit as Shak is no where to be seen. There was almost reason to lose a few on purpose! But I think next season the league will be 10 times better, I think collectivly the commited players like yourself need to make some changes in what you think will be best for the league. If it were me I'd want that matchup. Quebec vs Montreal... doesn't get better than that.

While I'm a pretty decent handicapper, and a winning sports better!!! ya!! So here we go Quebec --- 5 to 1 Pittsburgh -- 5 to 1 I put these guys first cause there in the easy conference. I think Deer's played the best hockey this season, but I still put Pitts at 5 - 1 also. I know Quebec has pretty weak D & in a long series... assuming they both meet its gonna be tough for Deer to stop Mario & the pens. Jota C -- 6 to 1 Returning champ has been playin possum. Hard to put him as fav, but despite crappy record he's gonna be tough. Can't ignore last season Detroit --- 7 to 1 Detroit will be tough... Rudy can score in bunches Chicago -- 8 to 1 I expect to play Mike in the 2nd round... will be a war for sure! Winnipeg -- 8 to 1 Tough to handicap yourself! LA -- 10 to 1 The best goaltending I've seen is from Fenty. He may be able to pull off some upsets with a hot goalie. He also plays great hard hitting defense with Blake & McSorley ( I think) Hartord -- 10 to 1 I noticed Hartford playin some great players really tough. Although Hartford is probably not as bad as everyone thinks, they are still on the lower end. But he could cause problems I don't know if shakazuzu will even show up for playoffs, or he could do some damage. Props to BSDeamon & the Boston coach for comin in & playin a bunch of games. I'll leave the predictions for someone else Best of luck all!!

funny to hear you say that after our game BS I know its frustrating sometimes. Especially in this league vs deer & caper. I lost 11-2 to deer & I think I didn't say anything! but after playin poker for 6 years I realize hockey isn't somethin to get frustrated over!!!! As for Deer, I hope to meet him in finals.. he's a great player & I think I will give him a good fight!! Although I have to get through Detroit & chicago 1st.

For SNES A I don't really think its necessary to do all these DNP's & forfeits. Just rank the top 8 in each conference by winning % or points or whatever. Might as well just get to playoffs. Save yourself the work & just rank them 1-8 should be easy. I don't think anyone cares if they finish 3rd or 4th its all the same. Here I'll do it for u!! Quebec, Pittsburgh, Hartford, NY Rangers, Philadelphia, Buff, Montreal, Boston Detroit, Chicago, Winnipeg, LA, St. Louis, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary Could change in the next few days, but just eyeball it quick!!

I somewhat disagree with Deer's reply. If you use your goalie to get the puck then you retain possesion %100 of the time. If you touch up for icing, you have a faceoff at the other hand which say is 50/50. In addition to that you can knock a player or 2 down with your goalie & create an odd man chance. Where as a faceoff in the other team's zone will put all his players in good defensive position. I guess I shoulda said I completely disagree with Deer's reply.

I'd prefer any league where the ply's are commited. Why is the genesis league so much more committed. The GENS A & B are doing while, & the SNES A & B are pure crap!!!!

I'm only posting this cause I can't play any league games, so might as well talk next season Just a few quick idea's I had. Next season I think the B's that come in & the previous years lowest records ( maybe the ones that missed playoffs or weaker records) Should be entered into a draft lottery for the 1-9 picks maybe. We could just rankomly allot teams after that. I think a few guys are hardly playin, then playin a few regular season games vs the elite who have been playin plenty, & the elite ply's also have better teams. The draft may go Chi, Pitt, Bos, Det, Buff, Vanc, NY Ran, Calg, Maybe balance the league a bit & keep more ply's playin! (would rather be playin this season's games)

Next season will be better. But I think we have to take everyone who's commited in B & move em to A I have a hunch that the guys who haven't played many games probably don't check the forum often so probably won't read posts like this

READ ALL! is anyone on at 3 am hr's. Can't ever find anyone on at this time. 2nd ..... even if we have no shows lets get to playoffs.... Deer, Caper, Rudy.... you've all been kicking my ass! IT STOPS RIGHT NOW!!! Boy I made a huge blunder this season so far & am still 12-10 (13 actually) But I was playin at monster disadvantage & didn't even know it!!! NOW....... YOUR WHOLE CAPE BRETON CRUE is FINISHED!!!! (just joking... Although your in for a batttle now.... just trying to get everyone fired up for playoffs .& Deer is apprently the best in the world .... he even has his own blog ) Stanley cup odds coming soon (its 3 am)

Ya next season will probably go alot better as we can get some of the B league guys who are commited to join A Like I said before maybe the coaches with few games played could post on the forum when they will be available to knock off a bunch!! Or post that they quitting!

I must say I've been very suprised by the overall balance of the SNES A league. I'm beating guys that are in turn beating the guys that killed me??? Maybe certain matchups are better than others. So far the class of the league would have to be deer & rudy. Deer plays really amazing with Quebec & seems to know them inside & out. Quebec has 3 solid balanced forwards & 2 rather weak D-man. Deer seems to play to the strenghts rather well and its never just 1 forward that kills ya. Rudy is a great player who has a great team. Detroit has a great 5 man unit. Everyone can score I think Detroit is the toughest matchup for my team personally. I think there top 5 with there set of forwards & top 3 with Coffey & Chaisson on D. I'm not sure what to do vs Rudy, I'm thinking neutral zone trap!! Honorable mention to Chicago MIke who's come on super strong lately. 8-2 in his last ten for the best streak out there. He plays the perfect style with Chicago & is super tough on D. The most intense game I had this year was vs Mike, I had a 1-0 lead early & felt like I couldn't let him score cause I may not get another. I kinda wish the games were alittle more meaningful. I like pressure packed games!! But I think this season will give everyone a chance to think of the best way to setup the next. Anyone who is lacking on games maybe you could post a time when you will be available to knock off a bunch!!!! I don't want any 1-0 wins or DFN's
