  1. This is KingRaph's actual Stanley Bobble that I will be sending him. Appropriate, if only he was in a Rangers Uni. Each season I will send the Champion a Bobble!
  2. Season 1 Bobblehead Awards TEAM Bailey Bobble = New York Rangers (KingRaph) = 8-3 Presidents Bobble = New York Rangers (KingRaph) = 15-0-5 Goals Scored Bobble = New York Rangers (KingRaph) = 116 Goals Against Bobble = New York Rangers (KingRaph) = 58 Checks per Game Bobble = Boston Bruins (Aqua) = 31.5 Most PIM's = Boston Bruins (Aqua) = 35 Best Power Play Bobble = Montreal Canadiens (Tex) = 31% Best Penalty Kill Bobble = New York Rangers (KingRaph) = 89.3% Regular Season Most Points Bobble = Mark Recchi (New York/KingRaph) = 40-33--73 Most D Points Bobble = Alexi Kasatonov (Montreal/Tex) = 4-25-29 Most Goals Bobble = Mike Gartner (Montreal/Tex) = 45 Most D Goals Bobble = Al Iafrate (Montreal/Tex) = 9 Most Checks Bobble = Eric Lindros (Boston/Aqua) = 229 Most PIM Bobble = Uwe Krupp (Boston/Aqua) = 13 Best GAA Bobble = Don Beaupre (New York/KingRaph) = 2.90 Best SV% Bobble = Don Beaupre (New York/KingRaph) = .693 Most Shutouts Bobble = Chris Terreri Detroit/Ice) and Tom Barrasso Toronto/Jer) = 2 Playoffs Most Points Bobble = Mark Recchi (New York/KingRaph) = 21-15-36 Most Goals Bobble = Kevin Stevens (New York Rangers/KingRaph) = 22 Best GAA Bobble = Chris Terreri (Detroit/Ice) = 3.47 Best SV% Bobble = Chris Terreri (Detroit/Ice) = .703 Other Best Retro Player Bobble = Gordie Howe (Toronto/Jer) = 24-8-32 List up any others.....
  3. KingRaph is the First Premium Retro League Champion!
  4. Soft Start to Draft dur to overwhelming desire to get it going with pick 1.1 the Minnesota NorthStars select.... Defensemen Ray Bourque
  5. One thing I think should be clear heading into the draft is Season 3 Keepers, so here is the rule. 0 keepers = 2 Teams who play in the Stanley Cup Final 1 keeper = 6 Playoff teams who do not make the Stanley Cup Final 2 keepers = 2 non-Playoff teams. Expansion teams or Teams with a replacement coach will get zero keepers. This is subject to change only if everyone agrees similar to last season when we lowered the number of keepers for everyone, but we turned out with 6 coaches and 6 keepers. Now we have 10 coaches and 10 keepers. Future Expansion I would like to get to 12 Teams and have the 6 A Coaches be the Original 6 Teams and the 6 B Coaches be the 6 1967 Expansion teams. 22 Game season playing each coach twice. And the realign top 2 move up and bottom 2 A move down each season. Playoffs would be all A vs A and B vs B until the Finals and then the B guy would get his once in a lifetime shot. However I am fine with less as long as we keep the seasons moving with motivated coaches. I am never going beyond 12 teams.
  6. No keepers are based on the previous season. If you win the Championship, do you think you would keep Mario? No. If you finish middle of the pack and get one you will have to choose between Ray Bourque/Patrick Roy/Mogilny and Mario for your one keeper. We want you to be competitive Aqua not the 1977 Canadiens or the 1985 Oilers. We will also re-evaluate each season. Originally I said that 5th and 6th would keep three and we decided that was to much. Also after 4 seasons we will have exhausted the draft pool and will either start over or Draft strictly from 70's, 80's, or other 90's roms. I am not sure. I/You/We are building this thing as we go, but as to your original question. No, you do not permanently own Mario and Lindros. I can tell you. Season 3 will look similar to this one and the Draft Pool will be the Norris Division and my 1961 Rom. (January 2018) Season 4 will be similar and the Smythe Division and my 1966 Rom. (February 2018) Early thoughts on: Season 5 Some kinda combination of Original 94 players and my 1967 Rom. (March/April 2018) Season 6 Some kind of combination of Original 94 and my 1970 Rom (May 2018) Then a Summer Break. P.S. I am loving the intrigue of a different draft pool instead of the same old, same old and the talk of the strength of this draft class and that draft class. Especially loved Raph calling 1956 Jean Beliveau, Gretzky on Steroids. (as he was and I know my ratings are good)

  8. NY Rangers led by Kingraph advance to the Stanley Cup Final with a 4 games to 1 series win against Montreal (Tex) Icestorm and his Detroit Red Wings will face the Rangers in the Final. Congrats to Tex on a great season and GL to KingRaph and Icestorm in the Finals.
  9. Green Bay #1 because I think Troy can do it better, but I like them all... How about a King of 94 Tour instead of just one event
  10. What about Green Bay? Troy seems to have everything together as far as logistics, organization, experience, and most importantly enthusiasm. Add is Mikey and Halifax's help and we would truly have a dream team of organizers. It could be the permanent home like Madison is for Tecmo. AND, a 2v2 component must be part of KO94three
  11. I was hoping you could come over to my place this weekend. But yeah, I need more of it.
  12. This machine includes: • High quality Arcade artwork • Happ arcade joysticks and Happ micro-switch arcade buttons (1 or 2 player control panel setup) • 19 inch LCD screen w/remote control • Fluorescent marquee/header with translite sign • Two additional wireless controllers w/receivers and one wired controller (for the ability to play 3-4 player games)
  13. 100% agree on the controllers. I think you can use additional controllers if you read about it, but not sure how that would work. Ultimately you need 4 and 2v2. Still think about us in that Vegas lobby and wish we had played more 2v2 on Friday or whenever. I am getting 2v2 set up running here locally. I think I can hook a couple locals with 2v2.

  15. Thanks for the reply, I have been messing with the player cards, I've got them right. Problem is that when it gets to RW which is blank it shows the generic goalie and freezes. So I see my center, left wing, and then if I don't hit start before RW shows it crashes. I can't find a work around.
  16. Thanks, as an added bonus on the Slapshot Roms, 2v2 and 5v5 I was able to insert Brass Bonanza as the Opening Music!
  17. Is it possible to prevent the opening screen from crashing when you look at the starting line-ups? I like seeing my player cards
  18. My Slapshot 2v2 rom has b-checks enabled so that the Chiefs and Bulldogs can mix it up.
  19. I know I am spitting in the wind, but..... Why not take those 2-6 and let them compete in a small, fast, effective league. Draft, season, playoffs, Draft, season, Playoffs etc...... Then divide those other 18-22 people up by skill and let them go in 6-8 man leagues doing the same thing. Premium Retro has proven it works, except we have differing skill levels. Limiting the draft pool worked well to maintain the fun of the draft. Continuing to start leagues that lag, need replacements, last 6 months, etc..... is crazy but carry on crank her up and tell me why my small fast and effective leagues suck. EDIT: BTW this is not directed at Raph even though I used his quote. He is top notch in any league and supports all well. In fact a goal I have is to give him a top notch league instead of hammering me. and I believe I will get better playing Uber competitive games than getting trashed by him.
