If you're going to half-ass it, at LEAST put the backup goalie in. A backup goalie is better than no goalie at all, no? I remember a time in the GDL that I had the backup goalie in at 4-0, and I came back to win 6-5 in OT. Anything can happen.

I personally am not bothered by teams that drafted 3 forwards in 3 rounds. I tried to keep a balance, but in the end, it all comes down to player skill, and we all know I'm way behind when it comes to that

Gartner Still #2 Prostitute, but Broadway Blueshirts on Roll The New York Rangers are finally playing like Eastern Conference favorites. Too bad it took them 19 games to find themselves. Mike Gartner had a huge role in the Rangers' recent 3-game sweep of the Quebec Nordiques. They sent the Nordique faithful home shocked with a 5-1 beating at the Colisee de Quebec. It can indeed be frustrating when you have a lesser coach in the league, then he gets replaced by someone who seemingly lights the league on fire with great play. I agree with addisonbr in this case that it is imperative to play all the games quickly before any potential replacements are found and your chances of winning go down the tubes. Then again, what am I talking about? I haven't had a good run of wins since the first Clinton presidency . In fact, I still lose to the CPU about 30% of the time. Maybe I gotta brush up on that manual goalie big time
