Great job Frey, I know I spazzed out a bit over the checkpoints but truth is you did an awesome job of running the season, especially with all the drama & crap going on in that A league! Question: If Plabax is now gone, who is going to be getting the Blitz 09 draft & site organised?!!!

Exactly. Open it up to sign-ups & perhaps evaluate who you're gonna let play: i.e. Someone like Carse maybe you stipulate that he completes another league before he plays classic again (Sorry Carse, just an example) Don't know about anyone else but cancelling Spring classic seems like a major indicator of a community dying out? :-( That would be very sad. Gotta have a Spring classic!!!!

Exactly. Try to push the focus on to me all you want, but fact is it's a total cock-up of a schedule, which has contributed to killing the momentum the season had, especially in B. Wasn't trying to rub anyone the wrong way, but the slackers have been slacking because the schedule gave them license to by only requiring 4 games in 2 weeks at times. Was just stating a fact. I'll admit my attitude to GDL wasn't good, but just admit u made a mistake on the Blitz schedule

How about some sort of expanded Olympics/Soccer world cup format on Gens with a few small groups & then playoffs? Basically if you had B players plus King, Icestorm & maybe 2 or 3 other A players you'll be fine in terms of commitment levels

I told Ice last week he could give my spot to someone else. I've reached a point where Blitz is the only 94 league that grabs me now. New job takes up a lot of my time & i've just found i'm not motivated to play other leagues. Can't see me signing up to Classic anymore either. I just signed up for GDL as i'd never played & wanted to see what it was all about, but I haven't got into it even during the draft, probably cos it feels like there aren't enough good players with the weight bug. Just my opinion, i'm sure most will disagree, but I hate my team with a passion, starting with my very first pick. If you're not bothered about the first guy you drafted there's a fair chance you won't enjoy the league I guess. Sorry guys. If there's no one around to take my place i'll get the games in, but like you said, for me it'll just be to get it out of the way.

Exactly. You get 2 weeks to play 4 games, then another 2 weeks to play 8 games, then another 2 weeks to play 4 more games..............then a week to play the last 12! lol. Talk about killing the momentum. Who planned this?!!! haha

Man am I the only one who regularly gets given a guy who's not the closest to the puck carrier?! A regular occurance for me is hitting B to make a B check & having it switch to a guy on the other side of the rink!

No worries. Just frustrating to have tried several times to get the team I wanted & still not end up with it. Not a problem
