Had a thought: With port forwarding set up I can play my home games, but I need the other guy to have port forwarding set up to play away games right? I'm only solving half the problem. I now have Probob, Brutus, Labs66 & Chaos on the list of people that I can't play on Hamachi because it just desyncs from a data timeout in the 2nd or 3rd EVERY game

I don't know if you can play the CD version online, but I don't see why not? When I was a kid the CD version was my favourite because we saw it as the "defifinitive version" with the CD sounds & little extras etc. The goalies were a little harder to score on I think. Having played it again on an emulator as an adult a few years back I have to say I prefer the cartridge version. It plays quicker, although maybe the speed was due to playing on European tvs as a kid, & the sound affects are more natural. On the CD game there's a pause before a sound effect starts & because its a recording of a real sound it just seems a little fake to me. In the cartridge version the sounds are "part of thegame" rather than feeling inserted in. Cartridge version for me!

Hey guys, hope someone can help me: With certain players (Probob, Labs & I think Brutus) we play like 2 & a bit periods & then we get a data timeout causing a desync. Then the other players dot goes orange to signify "unreachable" on hamachi for like a minute, then comes back to blue. We play again, same thing happens'...........every game without fail. Have uninstalled then reinstalled hamachi - no difference. Any help would be appreciated as servers are an awful option for me here in Mexico & since moving to Mexico city the ping I get is even worse than before

The Mini Blitz playoffs finally come to an end, & despite some horrible connection issues Detroit run out champions in a 5 game marathon GAME 1 @ CALGARY: 4-4 (2-1 DET SHOOTOUT) GAME 2: @ CALGARY: 7-3 DETROIT GAME 3 @ DETROIT: 4-3 CALGARY GAME 4 @ DETROIT: 5-4 CALGARY (OT) GAME 5 @ CALGARY: 4-1 DETROIT Series went away every game & included Labs_66 coming back from 4-1 down in games 1 & 4. Congrats to Labs for a great series & tournament & hopefully he'll be playing in the real thing very soon. A great new community member & full of enthusiasm for this great game. GGS

Labs is 1st up but for a spot in B. If Depch is A standard he shud be 1st for a spot in A. One of the things about Blitz is being scrict with the standard. Labs is a good player i'm sure but that A league is fierce. All the top players there. I'm sure Labs will get into B later in the season if its not possible to put Dcicon up to A from the start

It may not matter to the guys in the playoffs, but its not fair to Labs to be thrown into the A league

But my point is, if dcicon for example was to move to A it opens a spot for Labs in B. If hokkee doesnt play u have to give dcicon his team in probably & Labs still can't get in

Thing is, if you leave him out now you can make changes to the A/B structure. If a guy in B has 12 games played this time next week you can't really start asking him to move up to A & start again, but if you get him now before he's started it's more possible & then you can put Labs into B

Agreed Hokkee will clearly want back in after about 4 days tops, but in terms of the league it needs to be sorted quickly. The obvious solution is to put a guy up to A so Labs can come into B, but obviously that relies on someone wanting to go to A, and be of the required quality. Other option is giving said player his team in B plus Hokkee's team in A & Labs has to wait for an opening in B. As it's right at the start of the league i'd suggest forgetting about Plabax's games with Hokkee & look to put a guy up from B then give Vancouver to Labs in the B league

The way the A league vets have got Inwould apply deadlines for them from the start. B league wont need them

I will have internet from 2morrow & will b back playing regularly again. B league as always will explode as soon as the start is confirmed. A as always will likely be a struggle. King makes great suggestions as to how to ensure the best start possible. I would suggest following his tips & setting a Friday night start date

Labs, I will be getting internet hooked up in my new apartment tomorrow morning, so I should be available to play our finals Friday night or Saturday afternoon. Haha. Northway native is off trudatman's xmas card list! The weight bug doesnt negatively affect gameplay at all, it just means the names you know like Mario dont play as they should. In NHL 92 you don't care about the weight bug cos the players don't have names, all you knew was it played great! The other SNES bug I hate the sound of is tje penalty shot one where the puck magically floats across into the stands & you can't take your shot? Sounds insanely irritating! That's the one Trudatman is always complaining about & saying how it ruins the game............oh, wait.........
