  1. To all TRIPLE PLAY enthusiasts!!! I've fixed the is issue of the dreaded TODD's TEAM or GHETTO CITY, or not being able to play a season from the start or Unable to create, release and players. Look no further, we can now all enjoy the "Your Out", the crouch scratching and the great game play. What's New 2021 rosters (effective as April 2nd (FanGraphs Baseball | Baseball Statistics and Analysis) Team Names updated (Washington is under the name D.C.) Player Stats will be updated in the next update. There is no expanded teams (No Arizona DiamondBacks, and Tampa Bay Rays) No updated jersey # or skin color. I haven't found where they are. Download RetroArch (Google Play, Apple Store, or Online (https://retroarch.com/?page=platforms) Load CORE ==> Sega MS/MD/CD (Gensis Plus GX) Load Content ==> Find the path for the game. 3. (Oct 11 - 2012) Seeing as I'm providing very little substance to the Classic League C Division so far , and am thoroughly impressed by the professional website design and general attitude of this community - I feel like I should contribute something to you all (or to any newbs who are just starting out). The day you downloaded the GENS or ZNES emulator, you probably tried it out with whatever gaming peripheral you had handy - be it gamepad, joystick or keyboard. Perhaps you had an XBOX 360 or a PS3 controller that you could just plug into your PC/laptop via USB in order to satisfy your curiosity. Fact is, if you've downloaded any of the many brilliant NHL94 roms - you need a better controller. The only way you will compete in online league-play is to get yourself one or two (a spare is important) quality controllers. Now I should mention that many great NHL94 players have avoided buying any controller and have near perfected their play using nothing but their keyboard (talk about cheapass!). Others have chosen to continually buy the least expensive USB gamepads they can find (as they inevitibly break-down from abuse). However, if you want the true retro feel of playing 16/32 bit games you need a 6-button gamepad like the one that came with the later generation Sega Genesis machines (pictured above). if you can't get your hands on one of these gaming goddess', either with a USB adapter or the more recent PC/MAC USB reissue - then you'll need to hunt the shelves for a substitute. I've put together a google spreadsheet that I'll be linking in this post, and plan to review a different 6-button controller every week. If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to post them below. Alternately, please let us know what you're playing with and why it's better than a 6-button controller (does it have a 7th button?) Jer_33
  4. I want to play my games with a larger window, but I don't know how to fix this problem. Any suggestions? Also, if anyone knows any website that can help with these kinds of questions for Genesis emulators, I'd be very grateful. All I could find was either this site or the actual Gens website, which doesn't have a very extensive FAQ section, so...
  5. Hello Fellow Modders and Gamers!!! This poll is for the next list of games to be completed or requested. By the end of July the top game will be the next to be completed, then 2nd, and so on. If there is any additional games they will be added, or if someone wants to collaborate with me that can take precedent. Please let me know.
  6. Hello Fellow NHL95ers!!! I'm making this post for anyone who has been inspired by all the hard work from the members across this site have done. This is my little way of giving back to help someone else along the way. A huge thanks to @kingraph @smozoma @wboy @Jkline3 @Asher413 @slapshot67 and many others, who I've missed - I apologize in advance. I've included in the zip file with a step-by-step word document, and the programs I've used to create my material. Most of the material has been shared before from @kingraph mapping list of NHL95, @smozoma Ditherer program, @wboy NOSE program, and @Asher413 knowledge of schedules. Everything I think can help you along your own way of creating something new. NHL95 Step-by-Step.zip

The top player in each division gets a "bye" into the second round of their division's playoffs with the player with the worst record being eliminated. Players ranked 2nd to 7th will be seeded in the playoff tree (2nd vs 7th, 3rd vs 6th etc). Rankings are based on the record from the round robin. After the divisional playoffs have been completed, the two finalists from each division face off in the finals to determine the champion! ***Code of Conduct:*** -Please be respectful of our host venue and of each other. Friendly trash talk is encouraged, but there is absolutely ZERO tolerance for violence, destruction of property etc. Basically in short, behave the way you would at a family member or close friend's house. If it gets to that point, you would automatically be disqualified and respectfully be asked to leave. Now that we've gotten that out of the way.... -We will provide controllers for this event, however we encourage you to bring whatever Genesis / SNES compatible controller or joystick you choose. The only requirement is that there is NO turbo function or external power needed for the input device. -For anyone that brings their own equipment, please clearly mark your equipment so that it doesn't get misplaced. ***Rules:*** The Battle of Vancouver will use the official King of 94 World Championship rules. Please refer to the game Rules at the link below: http://www.kingof94.ca/rules.html ***What is the VCRGC - Vancouver Community Retro Gaming Club?*** There's nothing quite like competitive gaming, but when it comes to the world of eSports there isn't enough options for people like us who prefer games of the retro variety. We want to change that and help grow a community scene with a series of monthly casual play meetups and money tournaments to make the stakes higher and more fun. From NHL 94 to NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, Street Fighter II etc, your favourite game from the greatest era of gaming matters! Let's rekindle that fire you remember as a kid together! 8. Hi everybody, I am currently hacking NBA Action '95 and I am trying to figure out a way to add the 3 expansion teams (Grizzlies, Pelicans, Raptors) to the ROM. The ROM has about 13 bonus teams (Hall of Fame Heroes, Hall of Fame Legends, etc...) in the game so I figured I would just be able to hex edit three of those team names, add the logo, and palette swap the jerseys to match the team I am importing; however, I have run into a big issue. These bonus teams all share the same palette with the Washington Bullets. I suppose my question is this, is there any possible way to add a new palette to the ROM and then assign it to these teams? Thanks for your help. Also, my apologies if I've posted this in the wrong forum.
  9. Not sure who's noticed this as well but on the NHL94.com homepage but the site features "Genesis, Sega CD & SNES". However, I searched the forums and there are no threads about the Sega CD version of 94! I don't want to start anything but it's funny how Sega CD is listed before SNES. Just sayin' ;-) So this is going to be the thread to discuss all things Sega CD (which considering the popularity of this system will most likely be the shortest discussion this site has seen) About a month ago, I purchased a Sega CD recently and then bought a couple copies of '94. I fired it up on Sunday and here are my initial reactions. 1. It's like the Gens & SNES had a little b@stard child. 2. It looks and feels more like the Gens version but the goalies play more like the SNES version. (take that with a grain of salt since I haven't played the SNES too much) 3. Goals you would think are gimmes... forget it. 4. The game sound fx are so much worse than Gens 5. Loading times are annoying. 6. No Hot/Cold lists 7. Big PRO -- Ron Barr speaks during the team roster comparison where the hot/cold lists should be 8. Biggest PRO -- the organ music never sounded so good! Not sure how many others out there have played but would enjoy to hear your feedback.
