HABS
This is going wrong. If you made a protection pick in ROUND 1, you don't get to make a second protection pick in ROUND 2. you just got to make your protection pick early (thus preventing you losing your top 2 guys in the first round). Also, any teams who did not make an early protection pick in round 1, get to make their Round 2 protection pick BEFORE the expansion coaches pick their players. However, if the players picked by the expansion coaches are from teams that already made a protection pick in round 1, that's fine, they can pick. :|

I did not have to protect first round. Since Gary Suter gets picked do I get another protection pick?
smozoma
Calgary protects Mats Sundin. I did not have to protect first round. Since Gary Suter gets picked do I get another protection pick? No extra pick. If you wanted Suter instead of Sundin, you can take him instead of Sundin (but I am guessing you wanted Sundin anyway) and nationals1 needs to redo his pick. If you wanted Sundin, then Suter belongs to nationals1 and all is well. Your next pick is a free pick in the 3rd round.
