swos Posted January 28, 2010 Report Share Posted January 28, 2010 (edited) Draft order is based on formula where: Points = regular season points Playoff Points = 8 points for every playoff series won DNP Penalties = 8 points for every DNP where player didn't contact opponent, or did it outside the gametime, 4 points for every DNP where both players contacted eachother but did it outside the gametime, 0 points for every DNP where player contacted opponent within the gametime I also did a lottery for the new players using a hat and pieces of paper. Some one with my record should still be drafting top 5. Well, that does it for me. I stuck out GDL 6 with intentions of having bure or some one in GDL 7. I resign. What's wrong with Selanne, either one of the Courtnalls, Modano, Gartner, Fleury or Mogilny? I imagine they could still be available when your pick is on. If you also want underrated speedsters, there's Bondra, Ronning and Granato. I'm sorry that you're leaving the league. You'll be missed. BTW, when's the proyected date for the draft? I also Didn't see it written anywhere its ilegal to throw games...and its not likes if I'm a top contender...I don't think I have more then 20 wins in my GDL career. If FPB went 6-40...then you should complain. You guys are making a bigger deal of this then it should be. Just because I resigned....everyone knows I hate gens anyways... lets see you play SNES... It just called plain integrity. You're seriously not going to argue the point you admitted to throwing games for a better draft position and then claim 'it's not in the rules' are you? Whether anyone else has done it is impossible to know for sure but you admitted it plain as day. The only reason I brought it up is the fact you're complaining about how your draft position was determined. Then because it was lower than you expected (after throwing your games) you quit.
