SSiG
We're not gonna give Dougie Gilmour some love for carrying the Devils to 6 wins? Without him, we're going into the final games winless.
HABS
This isnt the actual team lol, you can put up your all star votes. My picks mostly based on performance

I'm surprised a team like mine would have such a high goal scorer. I never really took the time to check out all the stats.
HABS
Team like yours..?, your top line is one of the best...Modano, Mess, and Teek.
SSiG
There should be one player from each team on the All Star rosters, so that every team is representated, no matter how pathetic they were. Hence, Doug Gilmour should be on the Wales Conference All Star Team, as a backup of course
IAmFleury'sHipCheck
I'm not going off statistics, just my own experiences from playing the teams: Campbell F- Sergei Federov F- Brian Bradley F- Mark Recchi D- Phil Housley D- Ray Bourque G- Ed Belfour Wales F- Mario Lemieux F- Kirk Muller F- Dino Ciccarelli D- Al Iafrate D- Petr Svoboda G- Mike Richter
IAmFleury'sHipCheck
I have a suggestion that I think would be pretty fun. If we compile the votes for the all-star team and make an all-star series out of it. The top player from each conference could face off in a 3 game series made up of the voted all stars. Winner gets bragging rights and gets to bring the pride factor back to the coaches of their respective conference. It would be nice if D could set up that tab in the 94 draft site next to the records section. If it's too much work, I understand but just a thought. HABS
west would own it big time, we got JR on the 3rd line.
matthurray
west would own it big time, we got JR on the 3rd line. Uh, yea, and West has better coaches. Just take the bragging rights.
IAmFleury'sHipCheck
Uh, yea, and West has better coaches. Just take the bragging rights. That's disappointing that you would just bow down like that Hurray. Your a good coach, where's your fight?
matthurray
I'll fight for the Penguins in the Stanley Cup. I don't care much for an All-Star game. Let's not call it bowing down... I'm not stepping up. and as a P.S. I think we can all agree the coaches in the West as a whole are better. It would be interesting if someone could get a power ranking formula worked out based on schedule and what not, just to see where everyone stacks up. I'm not statistician, but I'll give you the #1.... backhand. You can work from there.
SSiG
We have ASG cowards I'll fight for the Wales conference. I wanna go out with a win
matthurray
FACT! Gary Bettman has ruined the All-Star game. It is now more meaningless than the ProBowl.
SSiG
FACT! Gary Bettman has ruined the All-Star game. It is now more meaningless than the ProBowl. Kerpwned. At least make the game mean something. Like MLB's All Star Game...make it for home ice during the Cup Finals or something. Not much else you could do. Anyway, back to this All Star stuff...if this really happens, I would like to coach the Wales team. A good match against the Campbell coach would probably recharge my batteries and make me come back next season.
dmac
It doesn't really matter to me who the coaches for the teams are if we even HAVE an All Star Game. I doubt we'll even have one. And if we do, I think we should give someone who didn't have a great record a chance. But like I've said before, it's all up to D

But like I've said before, it's all up to D It would have been nice to have the top 2 coaches of each conference face off but instead, maybe each seed could face off against the seed that mirrors them in the other conference. That way, everyone is involved and it's worth it to set up. Now I know Hurray, the Campbell conference had some stronger coaches this season and you're scared to play bhf and bowing down vs stepping up semantics and whatever else but it's not about the winning aspect of it, it's about fun. Would you guys be up for that?
HABS
that sounds pretty cool, but would have to get all 12 teams willing to play. would be very easy to setup the rom with the two rosters.
