Al Bundy
What are some of the most impressive blowout wins you guys have done in NHL 94? Here's mine: Sabres vs. Islanders in Long Island. Buffalo wins 22-1. Mogilny has 8 goals and 15 points. Lalalalalalalalafontaine had 4 goals and 11 points. Hawerchuk had a hat trick and 6 assists. Even Hasek had 5 assists. Feel free to comment on my blowout and contribute some of yours.
smozoma
There are some guys on here who can score 100 goals in a game, 10-minute periods. I think my best ever was 36 goals with Quebec in a 20-minute periods playoff game, back when the game came out. I'm better at defense Do you play the Sega version, or the SNES version? Xstioph
My (personally) biggest blowout against an irl friend I play against regularly was a 8-0 victory where he only managed 2 (two!) shots on goal. And this is a guy that's pretty much as good as I am.. We tracked stats, and he was one goal behind "per game" and I recall I had like 60% wins.. So this was a huge win compared to how our games usually turns out. As far as beating the crap out of the AI goes... I've never really tried to get as many goals as possible, well sometimes of course, but most of the time I try only getting goals with slappers, one timers or flip-pass goals and such. 5min, off, off. That's the best game I've had against the AI. I bet people has had way over 30 goals.. The funny thing is, I only got 3 goals (out of 4 shots) in the second period! Well, maybe not funny, weird mostly. Doesn't matter if I'm home or away, the 2nd is always my worst period..
SSiG
Do I even have to say? I've been the victim of the following blowouts... 24-3 (Angryjay93 v. SSiG, GDL) 14-2 (IAmFleurysHipCheck v. SSiG, GDL) 10-0 (Carse v. SSiG, several occasions) Many more, way too many to list. ...and you wonder why I retired from competition
sebendo
Yeah, I think blanking the person you're playing is about the best thing you can do. After years of playing, I've only blanked a quality player once ... 9-0 (we play 10 minute periods, SNES). It's much more satisfying than a big goal differential. Has anyone ever had this experience .... You're about to blank someone, and they score a goal with 30 seconds left in the game? I don't care how bad you're beating them, they walk away cheering!! I've also had my share of humiliating defeats. But I don't really catalog those!

addisonbr
Blanking people on the original NHL (or what I think of as the original NHL, the version that predated NHLPA 93) was for us the true test of amazing.
trudatman
it's 100+ goals in the TWENTY-minute periods, not ten.
