No save state as

Has anyone else had any issues with saving the state of a game using the gens netplaysave application? The last couple times I hosted a game, I tried doing a save state after the game and a window comes up that says I have to close the kaillera client and ROM first before I can save. But when I do this the game is gone and I can't save. My opponent has been doing it for me. Anyone with any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey guys I'm sorry but I will be unavailable to play until hopefully Monday, possibly Tuesday. My controller crapped out on me last night while trying to play Gintron8001. I bought a new one and they said on or before Tuesday for delivery. Sorry everyone. but when it does come in I need to play two more against Gintron8001 and the rest of my games against the remaining teams in GENS D so those guys please message me to schedule some games. Wow that sounded like a blast! Reminds me of some of the back and forth matches we had with my family in holidays. Always had a tourney every year with that year's hockey game for Sega.
