Instead of dwelling on the Finals, you should be proud of surprising every hockey fan in the world and setting the tone for years to come. This is a playoff-caliber team with the threat of making a deep run for years to come. They proved that they are built for the playoffs. Be proud of your team. And all of this coming from a Rangers fan.

Since I last came here, I bought a Genesis console so I could play all of my Gens games. Now I have 93 on Genesis and 94 on the SNES. Both systems still work great... there really isn't anything like playing on the original console. Has anyone played NHL94 on an emulator with an xbox 360 controller? It's deadly-vu. So I got an email saying I got a PM from this forum and it was some Russian spambot. O_O Anyways, I now have NHL94 on my SNES and NHLPA 93 on my Genesis... my cousin got so mad at me the other day when I did "the move" on him and shut him out.

Olczyk is underrated, (SNES version). Jagr always seems to sneak a goal against me, no matter what! And Lemieux is godly in the SNES version. Every breakaway I score.

I have NHL94 for my Super Nintendo. I still have NHLPA93 for my Genesis, but my console died years ago.

It could also happen on a penalty shot during a PPlay.

No goal horn. This is an original copy of NHL94 for SNES. I played it again after the glitch and everything was normal, goal horn and all.

Never tried NHL94 with a SNES ROM. I use Genesis roms a lot though. I remember NHLPA93 would occasionally et an error message on the Genesis.

I was playing LA @ NJD and I scored a goal with the Great One...then I noticed instead of the goalhorn, the referee blew his whistle, (the goal was awarded). Then I let NJ score purposely to see what would happen if the home team scores. The goalhorn is replaced with the referee's whistle once again and the screen freezes. The organ music plays once and then the crowd noise goes on forever. The screen looks like this: I think Claude Lemieux scored or registered an assist.
