My thoughts- Caps vs Habs- Habs in 6- Upset- Theodore gets rocked and Caps defense falls apart. Devs vs Flyers- Devs in 5- No Upset- Brodeur finally rebounds for playoff run and Devs have 2 soild lines that can score. Sabres vs Bruins- Sabres in 7- No Upset- Miller will fend off Bruins. Pens vs Sens- Pens in 6- No Upset- I worry about Fleury but I think Elliot will get even more rocked than him. Sharks vs Avs- Avs in 6- Upset- San Jose falls apart again come playoff time. Loses in 1st rd again. Hawks vs Preds- Hawks in 4- No Upset- Hawks goaltending scares me but I think its more stable now. Hawks just have too much talent not to make a long run. Canucks vs Kings- Kings in 7- Upset- Luongo gets rocked. Not a playoff goalie from what I have seen. Coyotes vs Wings- Wings in 5- Upset- Even though the Coyotes are the higher seed how can you not say the Wings are the favorite. Coyotes had a great year but it comes to a end against the playoff grinder Wings.

Just curious. Was the March 20th update the last update for the nhl 2010 rom you plan on doing or are there more updates you plan on doing for this rom?

Speaking of those type players I got another two I thought of. Claude Lemieux and Keith Primeau.

I spelled Tavares name wrong see how much these new players interest me lol jk. I forgot Niedermayer hanging around too. How can I forget him. If it wasnt for Lidstrom he would have won a hell of alot more Norris trophys. Toews has been something. I could easily rank him as one of the top Captains in the league even considering how young he is.

Toews , Parise, and Taveres are the ones Im watching. Andy Greene and Tyler Myers have been pleasant surprises. Still got Recchi, Lidstrom, and Blake hanging around to keep the old spirit going.

Is it just me or is hard to root for todays players. The players in nhl 94 are the players I grew up watching and admiring. LaFontaine, Bourque, Lemiuex, Roenick, Stevens just to name a few.I love to see Stevens level Ovi the way he leveled Lindros. Or Probert smash in Crosbys pussy lips smile. Maybe Im just getting old. I feel like Walt in Gran Torino. The worlds changing and Im having a hard time adjusting. Get off my lawn!!

Hes a rookie so I guess you have to mention him. I think Bergfors would even be ahead of him though. That Tampa defense besides Foster is horrible.

Duchesne I could see in the mix too. Bergfors maybe if he stayed with the Devils he have a very outside chance.

Whos gonna win it. You know Im rooting for Tavares to win it as a Islander fan but I think Myers at this point in the season has it. Howard could be in the mix too. What do you guys think?

As a Islanders fan here we go again. Another headcoach I liked being fired because of the mess Mad Mike Milbury has put together as a team (Yashin and his contract to name a few). Atleast the team owner Wang had announced Milbury will step down as GM. The least he could have done was fire the worst GM in the league. Oh heres just some advice bring Sutter back to the franchise. Sounds like hes ready to make the dip.

Even though I am a Islander fan which means I must hate the Oilers (defeated Islanders in going for a straight fifth cup in the Finals) and the Rangers (cross town evil rival) I must admit Mess was the best captain ever and who can argue a man with 6 cup rings. Congrats Mess.

Fellow new yorker here (long island). Sounds like a idea. Nothing beats playing other than with people around you then over the cpu. It just aint the same.
