I think the rest of the league was a bit shortsighted. I know I was. I signed guys that really dropped off this season. Neely, Linden, K. Stevens, Fetisov. Now I'm in rebuilding with scraps, wishing I had spent big money to solidify a guy like Lemieux or Fedorov.

That's pretty cool Raph! I was just telling Mikey on the weekend about Dan Cameron's 72 goal record. I wonder why it's not verified. In a way, I hope it doesn't get verified because 72 goals is just ridiculous!

The film will be amazing for all of us NHL 94 fanatics, regardless of what it's all about. But I'm super interested to learn the background story of the game's development, and to see some clips and sound bites from guys I've gotten to know from the tournaments. I think you can succeed in bringing it to the mainstream (primarily other sports fans, hockey fans, gamers, and retro fans), if you can show the passion that people have for this game, and tell your story as you try to learn what makes this game so beloved and enduring. You've got lots of great footage by now I'm sure. It will be interesting to see how it all comes together! We've got all the faith in you bud!

Thanks guys. It was a tough tournament but I wanted this win pretty badly. AJ and I are staying at the same place and there was no way I wanted to see him lugging two trophies home at the end of the night. Nice to have a trophy and the memories. There were lots of super cool guys here actually. Found some sens fans. Great tourney!

I just walked by Bartari. It's about a 2 minute walk from our place. I peaked inside and saw that their wallpaper is a series of repeating images of macho man randy savage doing an elbow drop on Jesus Christ. It's clearly a pretty awesome place!

Just curious - How come you don't just leave his team intact and let someone take it over? Some teams can be transferred to a new coach, but others get folded?

I'm confident we will have double this amount come game day. I think the s'toon guys need to convince their local Bud's to join in, even if they haven't played the game in years.

Yep, it was a very tough league. Despite missing out on the finals, I considered it a victory for myself by beating out the King of 94 (Mikail) in the playoffs, but man it was tough! I believe he learned from his first online league and will be back stronger than ever next time, much like ... (Star Wars spoiler alert) .... Kylo Ren.

You guys should all come to King of 94 West in Saskatoon on January 16th!!

I think guys like Mikail and Tyler will still play. They probably just aren't available these days or they know they have a full roster (or close to it). Mikail just needs a backup goalie and Tyler just needs a 6th forward. You could just assign them a player for 1 year to fill the roster and hope they show up to play the games. If they don't, let another SNES bud take over.

I'm dropping Eric Weinrich. He has been replaced by the slower, but more agile Vladdy Malakhov, who will blossom into a beast D man in 97 and 98. Eric was a big part of my season 1 win, and I hope he lands on his feet with another team. I will miss his yellow visor.

Congrats Annatar! I believe that is a "Triple Crown" since you are now the current Dynasty, SDL and Classic Champ! Amazing bud. This solidifies your spot in the SNES Hall of Fame. Great season by AJ too. Hell of a player on both systems.
