Best player in the game (my opinion) basically traded for 1st and 3rd round picks. I don't like it. Although I don't consider HABS to be one of the very top contenders, with this team he will be. Barely fair in my opinion.

Try to put yourself in a position of a championship contender wittgenstein. GDL just doesn't work so that weaker players gets to draft the best players and then decide who they want to donate them to. There is no one that wouldn't have accepted the donation and thus get a superior chance to win championship. Tomkabs being the defensive champion doesn't need best players given to them for free. It would just devalue the next championship that with that team would be inevitable.

I have to agree with icestorm here. Let's review this one by one. Barrasso (51) - Casey (70) no sense in this trade. Barrasso is clearly better one of those. Mogilny (3) - Robitaille (27) absolutely insane trade. Mogilny one of if not the best player in game. Even Robitaille and Bondra combined aren't as good as Moglny in my opinion. Numminen (94) - Cote (118) no sense in this trade. Numminen is clearly better. this is a textbook example of bad trade, and I would be doing a disservice if I wouldn't stand against it. I'm not commissioner anymore, so it's not up to me but dadonch said earlier that if situation needs it I can form a trading commitee and icestorm has volunteered to be in and suggested kingraph to be there aswell, and any veteran is welcome really. This is something that I think crossed the line and veterans needs to have a say.

why NHL 95 ? As a Finn I understand why you decide to play NHL 95 instead of NHL 94. NHL 95 is the best hockey game available to play with Sega Megadrive in Finland. why not NHL 94 ? NHL 94 in European PAL Sega Megadrive plays in slow motion compared to what it's supposed to be like in American NTSC Sega Genesis. This is because PAL runs 50 Hz or 25 fps and NTSC runs 60 Hz or 30 fps. Makers of NHL 94 did nothing to compensate this in game speed. In NHL 95 the gameplay is much faster so even when it does run in slow motion compared to NTSC Sega it doesn't feel like it. It almost feels like it's running too fast in NTSC Sega. Here's a video of what I mean: I remember as a child when NHL 95 came it felt like a big leap forward, because it had more speed. It wasn't until early 2000's I found out what a great game NHL 94 is when I played it in emulator, and soon after that we had our 1st online league up in May 2001. It's fairly easy to modify Sega Megadrive to run in 60 Hz mode. There are instructions online. It's nice to see this much interest for NHL 95 in Finland, though it would be preferable to see the same with NHL 94, as it's the better game of the two.
