I personally dont care about the fighting, I dont find it fun and having a rom with fighters only wouldnt interest me or someone like TK. Even with the weight fix we prefer playing with light and fast players. Knowing how easy it is to score, all you need is someone heavy who can penetrate through the defense, if every player in the game is a bruiser then it's not going to be difficult to run up the score, because offensive skills mean much much more than defensive skills in 93 and its always going to come down to skill this way. I think you must handicap the teams based on skill and let the light players be eligible.

Can you imagine.... This being s**t? Just joking lol but I do see a couple of problems. First off, people are going to want to draft 5 players they want for a starting lineup before they draft a goalie. With 9-12 having at least 1 mandatory goalie pick people are only going to get 3 players they really want to play. For someone like me or TK with the 3 picks we'll be taking 3 forwards so that is leaving 6/8 we drafted in the first 8 rounds on the bench, with smart drafting you will use your first 2 picks on defensemen. Second, That messes up the 6F 4D 2G Third, I don't think the offensive creativity will go up, my playstyle will stay the exact same and I wouldn't be expecting anything different. These are just my thoughts maybe others will agree with you.

The season is scheduled to start by the 3rd so you can try and get some trades in before then, but if I don't get the uploader working in time then I can extend the deadline.

For the newcomers who do not know how to upload save-states you must follow: (Guide taken from Smoz) Emulator, Saving, and Uploading Your Game Download the rom provided in the post, make sure you are using gens-netplaysave! When your game is over and the Three Stars are displayed on the screen, press the F5 key on your keyboard in order to create a save-state file. This is a file with one of the extensions .gs0, .gs1, ... .gs9 (depending on which 'save slot' you have selected). The default save location is in the same folder as gens-netplaysave.exe. DO NOT EXIT the game before making your savestate. If you exit back to the main menu, the statistics will be lost. The winner of the game should upload the game, but BOTH players should make a save-state, just in case the other person misses it. To upload the game you must Login and select the game you are uploading (The home and away teams must be correct!) and then choose the save-state file of the game and upload it. Have you ever played 94? Shot power does matte and there are rebounds. If you were to play me (It wouldnt be on shitty Kega) I would score more than 10 goals on you and I can guarantee not one rebound would happen because the goalie wouldnt make any saves. EDIT: And what do you think happens when you shoot.. The goalie makes the save, you score or you miss. How is that boring? You have a serious boner for 93 to the point where you dont even make sense just to make 93 sound better.

It's not easy to "step up your defense" in 93, it's very easy to score there's nothing you can do. I averaged 6.5 GPG in the past Classic season and I rarely use the one timer, the same goes for Kabs too. 93 has much less creativity in scoring because the goalies cant do anything. In 94 most of the time you will be doing moves go try to fool your opponents MANUAL goalie so the creativity in scoring goes to 94 by a mile.

Yup trolldatman explained it, it's the weight bug which makes heavy players easy to check and bad at checking.

Over the past week I have recieved a website and database template from DaDonch where I can modify the tables in the database so it can output what I want it to and has the ability to extract stats from save-states. With help from Dadonch and Smozoma I finally got the uploader working around an hour ago, and will be looking to make a Dynasty website now that I feel comfortable with what needs to be done. The league start for Dynasty will be no later than the 3rd of Feburary, which is two weeks from now. Thanks

This guy is a real pain, first game of GDL '93 he starts pausing the game on my breakaways and he accuses me of cheating and begs me to let him win. Hopefully the league is split.
