smozoma
I actually made this years ago, but was told it still had the resizing issue.. but I gave it to someone recently and they said it fixed it.. so here ya go. If you don't know what "gens-netplaysave" is, it's my customized version of gens 2.14 that allows you to Quick Save during netplay. It's useful for leagues with automatic statistics recording. For some unknown reason, my initial edit caused problems for some people by resizing whenever they switched between windows; this version fixes that as far as I know. I also added a volume control under the Sound menu in this version. I like 25%. unzip and put in the folder with gens.exe. replace your old gens-netplaysave.exe if you have one (or make a backup of your old one first in case this one makes something else worse). gens-netplaysave.zip

LA Robbie
What exactly is the benefit of this, in terms of stats recording please?
smozoma
With the normal gens.exe emulator, you can't save the state when doing netplay. With this one (gens-netplaysave.exe), you can. You need the savestate to upload to stats leagues (eg http://blitz94.com) compared to the original version of gens-netplay i made a few years ago, this one solves a problem with the window resizing itself. Zalex
and it has a volume control too. With the old emu you could only choose on/off for sound. thanks again smozoman
