jer_33
How about we just provide a 3-5 player list for our 11th round player, and just give best available backups in teh last round? Based on availability and need: 1-2 Skilled Forwards (CHI, PIT) 0-1 Skilled Defender (PIT) 2-3 Goon Forwards (BOS, EDM, PIT) 2-3 Goon Defenders (NYRx2, PIT) 4 Starting Goalies (BOS, MTL, TOR, WAS) 8 Backup Goalies (everyone). CoachMac
Lets do that. Edmonton takes: Phil Bourque Bob Sweeney Alan Kerr Craig Berube Mike Hartman I will take Clint Malarchuk as my back-up goalie. He lives in my town. Seano7302
What's up - you seemed so keen to get into leagues?School. I am just unable to draft when I am supposed to.
CoachMac
The team is pretty much drafted now. You have a good roster. You are welcome to stay if you would like.
jer_33
Toronto takes best available starter and best available backup with picks 11 & 12.
jer_33
School. I am just unable to draft when I am supposed to. As long as you can play the games, stick with the league bud. You got the skilled guys you wanted - everyone else is a goon. The teams are pretty well balanced IMO.
jackandjose
I was at the game Clint Malarchuk cut his jugular vein and almost bled to death.
CoachMac
That had to have been crazy/scary. It is tough to watch. Did you see the special they did on him on ESPN?
jer_33
School. I am just unable to draft when I am supposed to. Since you're here now, why don't you just select your final fighting forward and starting goalie? We're thinking of just assigning backups in the last round. Just pick a forward from Coach's list, and one of Richter, Essensa, Ranford or Chevaldae. Edited November 22, 2013 by jer_33
jackandjose
Yes, it was gruesome. Still remember it clearly today. He was lucky it happened at the end it did close to the exit. Had it been at the other end of the old capital center, he might not have made it. I missed the special about it. Would be interesting to see. I believe he started in net for the caps again less then a week later. Didn't he also shoot himself while hunting or something like that? CoachMac
Didn't he also shoot himself while hunting or something like that? Yes. He has OCD. The special talked about how tough it is to deal with. He seems like a really good down to earth guy when I met him, playing with our dogs at the river.
