Patrick
Completely disregarding the previous post... Im surprised that this game hasnt got much attention. It seems that all of the other games have roms and hacks and so on. Yet this one doesnt have anything special. How come? (
metzgerism
91 was the first of the vein, and 93 had ALMOST everything that 94 had. It's kinda like watching NFL football after watching some CFL. What's the point of 2nd down?
Patrick
I downloaded it, and got it opened up in NOSE.... but there are no free bytes! Damn it! What do I do?

Patrick
delete players? Its just the number, and position. No names.
mack
There were no names in 91 or 92.
Patrick
There were no names in 91 or 92. I know, Id love to fix that. Even though, I kinda forgot how plain the game was... it still would be kinda cool to get player names at least. And lines set up.
mack
Fights after the whistles are a very cool though. And it's slightly tougher to score, more posts and less goalies way out of position.

Patrick
To my growing disappointment, you cant even highlight the name area in NOSE. So... Ive scrapped editing NHL 92 any further.
TruePensFan1981
I loved playing this game on the Genesis when it first came out. My brother and I used to always play against one another. Playing the playoffs as Pittsburgh, I almost always seemed to end up going against the Kings in the finals (Gretzky vs. Lemieux). I enjoyed beating one Gretzky with one-punch knockouts in the fights. I still enjoy the game rom on the PC as well. Quite frankly, the NHL series was at its best before NHL '95 and its subsequent games came out.
