angryjay93 Posted February 24, 2008 Report Share Posted February 24, 2008 This is a note for all people looking to sign up for GDL 4: Sign ups will begin on Wednesday February 27 at 6 P.M. Eastern Time. There will likely be 2 teams open for spots in the upcoming season, we currently have 2 people on the waiting list as of right now. Legend of NHL and sungod can sign up at any time and keep their top 2 spots on the waiting list. Those 2 will have a deadline of Saturday March 1 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time in which to sign up, if they fail to do so by then, they will be dropped off the top of the list. For all other managers, they will be placed on to the list by a first come, first serve basis. It is unrecommended that you have played in some other league before, have experience against veteran players and are able to play 56 games in a 2-3 month period before considering to sign up. Any new manager in the league will be taking over a new spot, and can then pick their franchise, at that point a lottery will be done between the new managers to decide where in the bottom of the draft they will pick. So if 22 managers resign as i expect, the two new managers will have a lottery for the 23rd spot with the loser getting the 24th. Returning coaches arent already in, a separate post has been up a couple days documenting who has already resigned and who still needs to, dont worry smozoma, youre ok. Yes, we will have 2 open spots atleast for GDL 4, so as long as legend and sungod sign up before their deadline, they will be given a one of the 2 open spots since they have been on the list the longest.
