  1. @segathon I am fairly certain I fixed it. I think we were running different versions of the client software. I've been working on a Tecmo Server project and forgot to swap out to the default Gens client. I've hooked up a few instances and was able to connect no problem. Let's give it a go again this weekend. Holler at your boy & check your email.
  2. Wait until I pull off my one-handed Down+B against you in the finals. It is the ultimate demoralizer which leads to your crumble and demise!
  3. That sucks, bud. Maybe next year's Friday Night Retro can feature the real NHL game. I'll blame @segathon for your absence.
  4. Aww bummer. You were asking about Tecmo Madison on T-Borg. I thought you had signed up bud!
  5. Rules and such to follow as @segathon gets them to me.
  6. Howdy, gents! I know I am not a supremely active member, but am your brother in retro gaming as an admin from TecmoBowl.org. I am just gonna drop this a little diddy here because my buddy @segathon and I have joined mythical forces to bring an epic weekend opener to my Tecmo Madison tournament, Tecmo Madison: Friday Night Retro! Mods, if this is not allowed or needs further clarification, shoot me a PM. Friday night has been blown out. Starting at 6:00PM, Friday, April 7th, head to the High Noon Saloon in downtown Madison, WI for Tecmo Madison: Friday Night Retro! In addition to the usual registration, equipment drop-off, practice games and beer drinking, Segathon.com will be sponsoring an NBA Jam: Tournament Edition tournament and an NHL95 tournament — both on Sega Genesis! Both tournaments will have cash prizes, various game specific autographed items and trophies. Be crowned the first ever Tecmo Madison: Friday Night Retro champion in either game! But, that is not all. It is NOT ALL! Tecmo Madison XIII will also feature a play-in tournament for those on the wait list! Top 2 are guaranteed placement into Saturday’s main event! ….but wait, there’s more… we will have a mini Tecmo Super Bowl tournament with some not so Tecmo Madison rules. Trust me, you’ll want to play in this. Even I will have a chance to beat Regulator. All events are open to the public, you do not have to be participating in Tecmo Madison XIII to enjoy the evening’s festivities. The cover to get in is $0 – yes, FREE! Each tournament will have a small entry fee to fund the cash prizes. Good beer, good retro gaming and good pizza. Friday night is going to be awesome. Don’t miss out. Long Live Tecmo, davefmurray http://tecmomadison.com/friday-night-schedule-update/
  7. I just watched the highlights.... THAT WAS AWESOME!
  8. Congrats boys. I am glad we have a worthy, retro opponent. I've been tagging your page as much as possible. Hope you don't mind the mild trash talk.
  9. Howdy everyone. I am a transplant from TecmoBowl.org and am pretty excited to sink my teeth in. The hacking you have performed with these ROMs is insane. It is super cool to see other communities doing this to keep the best sports games alive. Now if we could only expand our SNES ROM to 32 teams...
  10. They say the first 100 is the hardest. Ha!
  11. Deals in and deals have different meanings. You bought a cart, posted a picture of it and recommended his service to another member. Not trying to push buttons, but you are certainly a part of the process. Also, State Of Love And Trust is my favorite Pearl Jam track.
  12. Next level tips v1: Photos can't show a link preview. If you really want to track the links, use bit.ly to create a shortened version BUT DON'T POST IT! Just post the original link. Bit.ly will still track aggregated traffic to that URL.
  13. Funny that the guy so concerned with EA shutting you down deals in the repro carts - http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/13513-nhl-94-on-carts-anyone-interested/page__st__60#entry123757 I definitely LOL'd.
  14. What up homies. I am THAT guy, the Facebook guy. MGK hit me up to show some pointers regarding social media promotion, particularly Facebook. A little about me: I am a social media director by day TSB addict by night I am developing a TSB remake - Gridiron Heroes I am also a husband and father Now, that's over with. Facebook has become about instant gratification for the end-user. They want info now. They want it displayed easily. What does that mean really? Pictures. Lots of Pictures. New ROM coming out? Post a screencap with a link in the body. New site update? Screencap. - Making more sense now? Another huge thing with FB is presence. Users will like what others like. There is little to no independence. If you really desire to grow the page, push its existence locally and get more people to like it. More to come.
