It's an honour just to be nominated What I'm really liking this year is the focus on growing the game. From making the emulator easier to use, to having a read-to-go tournament every few weeks, lots of ROMs for the offline guys, and league/tournament streams to get people excited. Next year:

Huh, well now I know. Although now I'm imagining a scenario where: Game 7 of the Finals. The home team is up by one in the dying minutes. The visitors pull their goalie and press hard, gaining possession in the neutral zone. A stretch pass springs their speedy forward on a partial break, but a home defender hauls him down and the shot attempt is denied as the attacker slides past crashing into the boards! The ref raises his arm on the delayed call. The last seconds on the clock count down and the home crowd erupts! The ref points to center ice. The home team grabs the Cup and

I used the analog stick on PS4 and Xbox controllers but I officially put them to rest and will be starting to use a six button Sega controller.

I use this gem, which is a Sega 1st party option. There is a black only version as well. I use it for all my 16 bit emulation needs. Now if only it made me any better at this game. I need a button that makes me win more.

I haven't gotten into online play - I struggle to beat a 9-year old and an 11-year old and I had a twenty year head start on them with this game - but the online play is what is driving most of the activity. I just want to see anyone who wants their favorite league NHL'94 style to have that opportunity! Never really interacted with @chaos or @danTML7 since I'm on the offline game side. Smoz does all the "BIG TIME" games. My channel is mostly a snapshot into my leagues. But sometimes I stream other big time playas too. Over 3500 video views on youtube and over 200 hours of twitch streaming this year... I .... have no life.

Appreciate the stick tap, I'm very thankful to have this community to keep this amazing game chugging along. Especially thankful this year as it gave me an outlet to have something to lose my mind in rather than dwell on all of the nonsense that's been thrown our way in 2020. Thanks again!

Smoz - I added the 2017 Retro Expo Semis and Finals videos in your op. This also reminds me to cut and upload the semis and finals from the previous LI tournies. I have them at home and will get them uploaded soon. Great thread that I forgot about. Gotta find those Vegas vids! Anything from Vancouver?
