  1. confirmed (If my math is right, we have traded 46 players with eachother so far this season-- if you include repeats.)
  2. And don't listen to trudatman. He doesn't even play 'onlag', so wtf does it matter to him anyways? Also, other people have mentioned that they would rather have houly undbanned than have to post on his behalf in league drafts. So just do it!
  3. Seriously, Houly deserves to be able to come back. He is a good bud. I, along with others, chat with him all the time. We have people who are way worse on the forums anyways. You can't justify having them on the site and not him. Plus, seriously, houly wants to come back and has changed. He has been in the 93 league and others since his ban with no real problems. Give him a shot, and if it doesn't work out, ban him again. It's been a year. He deserves a shot. Me, TK, and Hokkee can vouch for him.
  4. I like how when I make a trade with TK that is not against the rules, these cronies get to shoot it down. When they make a trade that is against the rules, they can rewrite them to force it through. (I forgot that we are living in post-Chavez Venezuela.) Sound familiar? That said, it's only a game. Let's be the bigger men and let them do it. We don't need to stoop to their level.
  5. Agreed. Houly has served his time and deserves a second chance. He has been nothing but nice over the last few months and is a changed man.
  6. Just got Roy the hat trick-shutout combo! ********************** EDIT: Ok, not as hard as I thought. Just got him a 5 goal shutout too
  7. hokkee(EDM) fan trades back Kvartalno to witt(NYA) for Messier
  8. Thx min. Good bud. That is who I am taking: Larry Murphy
  9. Naw, I am being serious. I want to do this deal & for these reasons. If it doesn't go through, which I am still hoping it will, I will have to work out different deal with tk
  10. One last part of my argument for the trade: Mogilny is a legit player that could have an amazing season. As much as I hate to admit it, I can't give him that season... at least not to the extent that someone else can. Mogilny deserves more. And TK can give him that season. TK can provide Mogilny the home that I can't. I am a bad parent. I can admit it. I can't provide for my child. But I am man enough to realize it and accept it and allow my child to go to a home where he can have a great and happy childhood. Mogilny deserves this. And you are going to deny him from it?
  11. w/e. Of all people, Habs, I didn't take you to be such a secular 94 player... thinking there is nothing in this game beyond raw attributes.
  12. That's the thing: I think that with this trade I am getting closer to putting together a championship team. Playing exis, I have done just as well (if not better) with the new team. I do better with a team that plays with a lot of heart and character than I do with a bland skill team. Plus it's easier to look at yourself in the mirror when you lost with a team that left everything on the ice, and I honestly don't know if I will be able to say that about my team before the trade. Mogilny relies more on gimmicks than hard work. Kvart and Granato are pure grinders. Plus, the trade doesn't guarantee TK anything. He's never used Mogilny in a league before.
  13. . Hey, guys. First of all, thanks for your concern. However, I think this is actually a case of a misunderstood trade. I approached TK about the trade because I had decided I wanted to build a team based around character rather than "skill". (Skill is subjective, though.) So the first thing I wanted to do was trade Mogilny to free up the center spot for Kvart. And I wanted to keep Granato. And I wanted another King for the wing, so I got Robitaille, who you may be forgetting has a sick shot. I've done exis with my team before and after the trade, and I really like the way my new team is playing. There is not as much speed, but the team really plays with grit and character, which was lacking before. (Note too that all the great Stanley Cup teams, from the Broad Street Bullies to the 90s Pens, were character teams. You can't win without it.) If this gets vetoed, the real problem is the subjectivity of a player's value to a team. My team really needed a guy like Kvart at center more than it needed Mogilny. And Mogilny needs a better home than I can give him, and he has found a great new home with TK. So the deal is really win-win-win-win. I win because I enhance the character of my team. TK wins because he upgrades a few players. Mogilny wins because he finds a better home. Kvart wins because he gets to step up and be the centerpiece of my team. This was a consensual trade, so I don't see the problem. No one is losing in the trade. Also, people have already been playing exis with the new teams, so it may be too late to turn back anyways.
  14. NYA: barrasso, numminen, and mogilny for ATL: robitaille, casey, and cote
