  1. What surprise? EDM+me=3rd place... Out of 3 teams!
  2. Me thinks Robbie's just talking me up so it looks impressive when he beats me.
  3. +5000?!?! I'll place $2 on myself. $15 on me winning the division. Can't place bets on others, otherwise I could be like the 1919 White Sox (Black Sox).
  4. I call BS on that. I was there a couple years ago, they use FAKE Heinz ketchup, made in Canada... not Pittsburgh. Tasted awful. My opinion of Toronto will always be tainted because of that crap.
  5. Toronto, Iowa on wikipedia: "According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²), all of it land. As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 134 people, 51 households, and 41 families residing in the city. The population density was 728.6 people per square mile (287.4/km²). There were 55 housing units at an average density of 299.1 per square mile (118.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.75% of the population. There were 51 households out of which 39.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.5% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.6% were non-families. 19.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 3.00. In the city the population was spread out with 24.6% under the age of 18, 10.4% from 18 to 24, 22.4% from 25 to 44, 31.3% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 127.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 114.9 males. The median income for a household in the city was $27,500, and the median income for a family was $27,500. Males had a median income of $22,188 versus $13,125 for females. The per capita income for the city was $13,702. There were 5.0% of families and 6.3% of the population living below the poverty line, including 7.7% of under eighteens and none of those over 64" I say we all move there when we retire.
  6. Oh man, don't touch smozoma, he's heatin' up!
  7. hahahaha, who's good?!?!?!?! Toronto, Illinois, located south of Springfield, Illinois and to the west of Lake Springfield Toronto, Indiana Toronto, Iowa Toronto, Kansas Toronto, Missouri Toronto, Ohio Toronto, South Dakota
  8. "Why can't Americans use numbers properly?" Habs, location: Toronto AYE SO CONFUSO. Unless there's a Toronto in Iowa or some other state nobody even knows about.
  9. I'll do divisions, I guess I have the right to since I've played the majority of these guys at one point in time. $50 on AJ in the Patrick (little skeptical cuz idk who jr is) $100 on frey in the Adams Life savings on Zalex (don't worry, that's less than the $50 I bet on AJ) My dog on Carse.
  10. I'll put $100 on Carse to win it all, and $1 on dcicon
  11. I had the lead in this at one point last season. Then my stupid life got in the way and I fell off pace.
  12. Am I missing something? It says the option is available until Monday night, today's Tuesday... From my understanding, that'd mean houly's SOL, no?
  13. I'll go ahead and throw out my "Dark Horse" picks: A: Freydey. He seems to be the only player that's ever able to beat carse. With a strong LA team, he'll have a good chance to do it again. B: KingRaph. Guy's supposed to be in A, only playing in B because the leagues weren't even! Not overlooking him cuz he has TB, Bradley's a b***h to defend against. C: Sicarius. He may be considered a "newb" but he sure doesn't play like one. He likes to score with the one-timer and has a great team in Winnipeg to do it with.
  14. Or I could just make fun of all of them and make it fair... though I don't really care about Toronto or LA. Buffalo and Washington fans get the same treatment from me though, don't worry!
  15. I'm in agreement here. If anything's going to factor into the team selection process, it should be what your ranking from the previous season was. Not how good of a player you are. We're not the US Government, no reason to penalize people for winning (or making more money, same idea).
  16. Great poll! Historically, Leafs-Habs would have to be #1. but, the way I interpret it, it's the best rivalry of all-time from any point in history. So, having said that, I have to say Kings/Oilers.
  17. Ok, that makes more sense now. I didn't wanna have to break the news to OB that the Raiders were awful in the original tecmo bowl. Kinda tempted to switch to the Broncos now... But I won't :-)
  18. Wait, are we talking about Tecmo Bowl or Tecmo Super Bowl? I don't think the Bungals are in Tecmo Bowl.
  19. It is, but still... 3 times in 4 weeks is ridiculous. That's Yankees-Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball territory there.
  20. "NBC Sports will once again feature a flexible scheduling format on Sunday afternoons that can see the Penguins appear up to four times, beginning with a Jan. 22 showdown with Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals at CONSOL Energy Center. Other potential NBC exclusive contests include: Feb. 19 at Buffalo; March 11 vs. Boston; March 18 at Philadelphia; April 1 vs. Philadelphia; and April 7 vs. Philadelphia." lol.
  21. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=587086&navid=DL|NHL|home Idk, it's something... nothing really else to talk about in the NHL right now, is there? 28 (!) CBC appearances for Montreal.
  22. awesome work. really, great job. I love it. I just hope this doesn't convince anybody to try to take my Oilers from me ;-)
