Can someone explain how the playoff matchups work? For the 1st round, the seeding was based on the top 8 in the entire league, but for round 2, was it Conference-based? Bo (1) played C4(4) and Bob/me (6) will play 90Jacket (7) ??

Haha, ya the sticker bombing thing was kind of tongue in cheek - but sometimes I just wish I had some cool NHL 94 stickers to put on my own stuff for the most part. I'm actually not willing to organize distribution or outsource production. I am willing to purchase stickers though.

After my hockey game the other night, the goalie was talking about how he had played NHL 94 that day for the first time in years, and how awesome it was (SNES version!). He thought that Jagr was the only player left in the game that currently played in the NHL. I obviously pointed out that Hamrlik, Lidstrom and Selanne were there as well (I might be forgetting a couple others). He wondered how I knew that and I explained that I played in online NHL 94 leagues and that it was amazingly fun. I told him to go to the website and "get involved". I believe there are many others like him out there that love NHL 94, or at least used to love NHL 94, and just haven't had the opportunity to play in recent years. They likely have no idea that the online community exists. So my question is, how do we "grow the game" of NHL 94 and recruit more players? I try to pimp it on messageboards, but maybe we need a viral campaign, or some guerilla marketing, like sticker bombing "NHL 94" stickers all over our neighbourhoods).

Looks like a good series. Must be frustrating for C4. But Bo is one of the best for sure.

That was a great series, but the Rangers didn't impress me that much. Sens didn't even play up to their potential. That beings said, with the East being so wide open, I can see the Rangers going all the way to the finals... but the West will win the Cup this year.

I can't play until Monday or Tuesday night. I have a couple really high priority things going on right now. The gf will be gone in 3 weeks, and when that happens, basically all I do is play nhl 94.

Guess what Anderson's save percentage was in his last playoff series... that's right, .933. So was that the series of his life, or is this the series of his life?

SDL is NOT dead. SNES NHL 94 is the greatest thing on Earth. I'll get my games in folks, don't you worry.

Sorry bud, I've been busy.. doing reno's on the house and I work for the government where fighting to keep my job is the number 1 priority these days.. That being said, I get in some games where I can and I am very committed to this league. I should be able to play some games tomorrow night. I don't know why I'm always listed online.

OmegaRed and Kurki - do you have AIM? what is your username?

OK, dumb question, but how do we check the ratings? For example, if a player is rated a 55 for an attribute, will their rating be between 55 and 64? What if it's 48? I find that a lot of Joel Otto's ratings are showing up lower than posted.

Thanks Dan. I haven't had a chance to check out the rom and ratings. I'll try to do so tonight barring any unforeseen circumstances if you know what I mean. I don't even know what I mean.

I would be pretty pumped if Quebec City gets a team. It's one of the nicest cities you could ever visit IMO, and only a 4 hour drive for me. I will be sure to visit for a game during their inaugural season. The Colisee is going to be renovated from what I hear, so it could be the temporary home of the team, similar to the Civic Center in Ottawa... About the Civic Center - I have some great memories there.. been to lots of 67's games and lots of Sens games there back in the day. I distinctly remember witnessing firsthand a Steve Larmer hat trick against my lowly Sens on Dec. 23, 1992 when I was 12 years old. Good times

I also totally agree. 6 games! All of Tony's points are valid. ie. -there should be no issue with everyone completing their games -we've put a lot of time and effort (dan especially) into assembling the teams -it would be great to be able to compare stats from on season to the next (I know everyone's wondering to themselves: Can Eric Weinrich repeat his 123 point performance?? Or will he play second fiddle to Gary Suter??)
