i'm not in gens, but i've been following this thread and this is the silliest debate ever. the first criterion for playoff seedings is PTS. Bo and snoboarder tied for the 8th spot in PTS, thats why they are in the play-in. It has nothing to do with who played games. even though this washington guy wasn't around for the entire season, he was still a part of the league and his games count. the reason there's a 4 person play-in in SNES is because 3 guys tied with 12 PTS for the 8th playoff spot. I think metz put the 7th seed in the playoff as well for simplicity? That may be the only thing i have a problem with... but its hard to coordinate a 3 person playoff so I can understand why he went with this. the thing that I'm concerned about is all 4 of these guys are not very active, so i'm worried when or if I'm ever gonna get a first round opponent?

don't change the rom at all... create another league called "almost classic league" if you want to make the weight bug fix but this is the original league and should be played with the original rom, no exceptions

is there any progress on the nhl94online website?? will we ever see it used for classic season again?

nice, i gradutated with engineering and did my final 2 years at dalhousie... umm check the downloads section of the site under the multimedia tab... the emulator we use is zsnes, and all the roms are different for every league

hahaa my AIM screen name is xgrad06! not too many differences between SNES and GENS... its all personal preference... there's definitely more GENS players and leagues than SNES tho, but we could always use more SNES players if ya wanna switch!

Alright guys, we were hoping it wouldn't have to come to this but Shaftman and myself have decided to set deadlines to try to kick this league into a higher gear and wrap up the first half within 4 weeks. If you don't reach these deadlines, we are prepared to replace you or remove you if there arn't enough replacements available. First deadline - 2 weeks 12 GP - Official deadline: December 1, 2008 There are some coaches who already have 12 GP but do not feel like you are safe. We want to see some activity from you within the next 2 weeks or you will be eligible for replacement or booted. Second deadline - 4 weeks 22 GP - Official deadline: December 15, 2008 This will conclude the first half of the season which will be followed by a week long trading period so please try to reach this deadline guys or its a strong chance you will be replaced or booted. Hopefully this breathes some life back into this league, good luck with the games guys! I still need to play BobKudelski26 and NHLtrippin.

Alright guys, its time to kick this league into a higher gear. I'm disappointed with the lack of committment from our current coaches and will be setting deadlines to hopefully finish half the season (22 games) within 4 weeks. There is a high chance that coaches will not meet these deadlines so I'm requesting anyone interested in potentially joining the league, reply to this thread. Some coaches have very low GP (0-4 GP) and all teams have very good Forwards, Defencemen and Goalies (actual rosters can be found in the Draft thread). Any SNES player or GENS player interested in playing SNES is welcome. This is a great league with some tough competition!
