Hello All, I just wanted to take the time to say what all of you have done to put this weekend together has been nothing short of amazing. I really wish I could be up there with you all, but my vacation time is limited, along with me transferring to my company's DC office next month. But be sure, if this ever happens again, I will make sure I am there to lose my 3 games haha, but more importantly have a good time. I hope you all enjoy yourselves, and best of luck to all of you!! I am all about 30 teams, but 32 would make all divisions have 8 teams. If this must be done, I would like the league to go back to pure divisional playoffs, then re-seed the final 4, and maybe have the Final have two teams from the same conference.

Ok since I have two people asking: I we get enough people it will be two leagues, obviously split for skill level. I would prefer 8-12 team leagues. If it is 8 you will play 4 against each. If more than 8 I will figure it out. I want this to be short and sweet, 28-32 game regular season. 5 minutes periods, offsides off, Lines will be On or Auto (I will put it to a vote) Team selection order will be randomized. You will give me your top 5-7 choices. Either this gets big and we get a spot on the stat save site or I will handle standings. What else do you want to know?

Happy Off-Season Everyone! (More Like Sad Off season) Since I have been kicked out of the past 3 leagues I have been in for winning the Slacker Award, mostly for watching actual hockey, I have decided to put all of my effort for this website and community into one thing, and that thing being during the time when actual hockey is not being played. I would like to become to commissioner of the annual Current Roster Summer League!!! This is something I have played in and been a part of every time somebody created it, and I would like for it to continue. Please let me know if you are interested in joining. I will determine league rules, team selection, after the number of interested players is set. Maybe this can get so big some admins can help out and give this a spot on the leagues site and we can save stats! Anyways, if this is a bust it doesn't really matter. I just think its a great idea!

A two month break for all league play during the playoffs. I feel like I have to miss these REAL games just to be able to keep up with playing games in my league. I know I am going to be shut down on this, but it's just a thought.

You make good points, and I agree. At the time it was not bad trade. Didn't Kessel win the Richard that yer or was close? He was the best player on the best eam in the East so getting him for two 1sts was not bad. It just ended up being a bad situation, which was unlucky. This trade was 100x better than signing Clarkson to the ridiculously awful deal. That's been Toronto's word move this decade. P.S. I know the Flyers are not much better, and may be even worse. I almost cry every time I see what we got for Patrick Sharp.

I never said we were amazing or anything close. We have probably made more worse trades than any other team.
