Something is rotten in Denmark. I completely second habs. That means the computer would have to score once every 11 sec (in nhl 94 ticks mind you). The computer won't even shoot it from beyond the blue line so just the time spent in the neutral zone off faceoffs would be enough to nullify this tall tale. And you won 56 faceoffs to 29. OK, so either you did some Photoshop manipulation or after every faceoff you shot it into an empty net. Either way, it sounds like someone has waaaaaay too much time on their hands.

I'm sure there will be a GDL4 signup list coming soon after the playoffs end. I think once the commish issue is finally decided, there will be a signup thread. Just keep checking in guys.

I'll reply more on this later as well. I do want to say that I support AJ for commish as well. Despite some minor differences that we've expressed to each other in the past, AJ is one of the most committed guys around and I think with some back end assistance from Dadonche and Dmitri, he'll be a great guy to fill this position. I also want to second SEBE that p2p should be a prerequisite for next season. Since we don't have the nhl server up and running yet and daroms in chi or dal not up, this p2p play needs to be made a requirement.

I'm sorry I haven't been on lately, i got stranded on the highway after work on Thursday night with car issues... then I've been dealing with that since then. I'll be on today/tonight if you guys can play. I'll leave AIM on so leave me a msg if I'm on away status, i'm just cleaning around the house. Lets try to knock it out this weekend.

Hey guys, I won't be logging on to AIM all that much these days but I do plan on playing 2on2. For our series, I'm pretty much available any evening, probably not Thursday evening though. When works best for you guys? I would prefer Friday after work hours but other days work as well. Tonight would probably work well too. Chime in if you get a chance.

Currently best Gens player? Man, that is tough. There are so many worthy competitors. Although, looking at current status, with the GDL3 playoffs in full swing I am going to have to give the edge to KG. Best regular season record and just blitzed me in both our games this season. Although, if I make it to the conference finals and meet up with AJ, I'm sure he will make me pay dearly for picking KG. I do want to point out that AJ has some of the most adaptive play around which makes him such a fierce competitor. And his ability to guess the right way on every one of my dekes is uncanny. I swear he uses some Jedi mind tricks to get inside my head so he knows even before I know where I'm going. Even though I give the slight edge to KG in GDL this season (he's done such a hands down amazing job with that team), in the classic format, I have to give the nod to AJ. Most of all, I can't say enough how great it is to play either of the guys on any given day b/c I'll always learn something new from them.

Where as I may have held up the playoffs a couple weeks last season (and at least I admit that), how soon we forget that it was Carse who held up GDL2 playoffs for 8 weeks while he figured out his connection issues. You're talking my language brother. Bezerk was da shiznit! And ET was the worst game ever made. The head of Game Dev at my company used to work at Atari when they created that game. He said they dumped so much money into thinking that would be the huge hit for Atari. Instead, they ended up throwing truckloads of them away.

Short fuse? I have been more than patient attempting to get our games in. Let me give you the rendition of every time I come online to ask you to play: EA: Hey gr81, how about we get our games in tonight? Gr81: [AWAY MSG] Now 2 things will happen from here on out -- 1. A 1/2 hour later, a seldom response from him saying he can't play right now 2. More than likely, the always classic no response with a "Gr8a signed off at xxxx" So for once, how about helping me out here and making a plan to get these games in?

What a joke. Of all people who should say anything, you shouldn't be one of them. Just b/c you make yourself available 1 night a week and other people aren't on doesn't mean those guys aren't on the other 6 days. And by the way, don't get your panties in a bunch, the deadline is tomorrow.

I agree with pill. Then just set the checkpoints accordingly for the season from the beginning. There were a lot of times this season where I had the chance to play guys but the games hadn't been released yet. Then when the game was released, we were never on at the same time.

I can't believe no one has brought this person up yet, but how about Wags as commish next gdl???

chris, just a heads up that we just started the playoffs this week so i can't imagine there will be a spot opening up. However, keep checking this part of the forum for next season's signups. Signups should be in about a month.
