What I do is save the image using IrfanView, open and upload it in ImageShack, then post the link with tags around it.

I'm kinda disappointed more people don't want ties to be worth less. My biggest problem is that I really need the playoffs to be as close to the regular season as possible, in terms of how you are rewarded for your work. Cap Leaguers will notice that I've moved the points system into the playoffs this time around, but I would really like to make everything fairly identical. It's a personal comfort thing. The current NHL doesn't have it, although it pretty much did back before the OTL point in 1999.

I will be running a Genesis Capitalism League with 2008 rosters (all stats are 99, though). JimCraig, I have already added you to my AIM list and was planning on inviting you when it started.

sungod - I don't think anyone is attacking Gens, so what makes you think attacking SNES is warranted? There's no war. Get over it. btw: I played GENS only until I came to the site, then somehow I became an SNES person. So I think dangler is wrong there, too

You download them and open them in ZSNES - most of them are ROMs. If it's an IPS file, you need to get an IPS editor (like SNEStool) and manually fuse the .ips with the .smc file http://www.rpgclassics.com/trans/howtopatch.shtml

In the draft, I think every coach should draft out of every position as close to at least once as possible. Whoever wants in AND is committed enough, but I think 12 might be the lower limit. At least 2 goalies and probably 10 skaters. 2 vs. each if there are 17-26 players, 3 vs. each for 11-15, 4 vs. each for 7-10 players. Not I, said the mouse. Not I, said the dog. thanks.

I would never put the shootout into one of my leagues without a very negative points system involved (I don't believe in the shootout, ever, in anything - not even soccer). However I put it in the poll cause I'm sure there are people who kinda want it. I think endless OT is a very real possibility.

You'd restart the game with the same settings and everything, and the first player to score goes WWCD.

In most classic leagues, it takes three ties to overtake a single win (because of the first tiebreaker, most wins). The most I've ever seen for one coach is four, I believe, and in the Cap League we had 7 in 1,146 games, about one in every 164 games - suffice to say nobody got three, even with that LARGE number of games.

I'm considering getting rid of ties in my next Capitalism league. I was wondering what the rest of the community thought about having tied games in NHL94. Discuss.

Games in the Guinea Pig league are completely optional...might have been prudent to check with those two guys first.

Jeff won't understand this. He will understand this:1) The NHL is wrong anyways. 2) NHL playoffs don't give partial credit. 3) A lot of hockey fans don't like the OT loss point. 4) Jeff I'm sorry I don't know how to fix it yet.

Personally I'm not finding huge problems playing with 85 ping on SCD - maybe I'm just new to Gens again (I'm not new to Kaillera). But I would be apt to agree - if you are playing an East-West matchup, it'd be most fair to have the East Coaster host in SCD and the West Coaster host on West Wonderland.

Yes, but I was testing the waters out with this format. In theory, there is no need to replace coaches, and the next league will fulfill that promise in practice.Part of the problem is that I set aside teams before announcing the league, and those players either went MIA in the interim or decided they did not want to play SNES anymore. Next time, I will not be removing anyone.
