The Deer
Great thread! Although I'm using Winnipeg in the Winter League, my team is Quebec. My lineup 95% of the time is: LD - Duchesne RD- Lesyschyn (sp?) LW- Nolan C- Sakic RW- Sundin With WInnipeg, it currently is: LD- Housley RD- Numminen LW- Steen C- Selanne RW- Zhamnov But Quebec is my team by nature. angryjay93
in the league with toronto i had... borshevsky-gilmour-clark macoun-ellett I dont realyl have a team i use a lot, i kind of threw myself into the fire with Toronto. My LA Kings combo is worth noting tough robatille-carson-sandstrom zhitnik-blake Notice that sandstrom is at wing and gretzky is riding pine? im sure you did, i catch a lot of grief for that. Setar
Chicago in the Winter League right now. Main line LD: 5 Steve Smith RD: 7 Chris Chelios LW: 22 Christan Ruuttu C: 27 Jeremy Roenick RW: 28 Steve Larmer For penalty kill/injury, I go to the best guy available for reserves, on defense usually Bryan Marchment, on forward either Brent Sutter or Joe Murphy. I also make sure Larmer is on the PK, so if Ruuttu takes a penalty, I just put Larmer on LW and if Larmer takes a penalty, I don't make changes. I've tried several line combos with LA in the winter league...and the one I've used for the past 5 or 6 games has been this... Gretzky-Granato-Robitaille Blake-Mcsorley I had sandstrom at center and then he got put out for a game and I through granato in. He scored the tying goal with 2 seconds left against boston then scored the winner in OT. I've put him in ever since.
gesundheit39
My slightly unconventional Detroit lineup this past season was: LW- Ciccarelli C - Yzerman RW - Drake/Kozlov/Sheppard LD - Racine RD - Lidstrom
backhandfloater
There is no particular team that I like to use. They're all fun. I like to “Spin the Wheel†as we call it in my circles. (Scroll through the teams rapidly and randomly stop at a team. All teams are fair game except All-Stars and Chicago) I think an important factor in winning games is not only knowing your team inside and out, but also knowing your opponents. (Example: When Gretzky winds up at the blue line do you take goalie control? Of course not!) Mix it up! For League Play: Detroit LW: Dino C: Yzerman RW: Fedorov LD: Coffey / Chaisson RD: Lidstrom NY Islanders LW: Turgeon C: Hogue RW: King LD: Kasperitis RD: Malakov
