Edmonton came out looking for the upset. In game one the Oilers led 3-1 in the 3rd period only to see Pittsburgh score 3 unanswered goals to win 4-3. In games 2 and 3 Pittsburgh scored early and the Oilers were not able to generate the offense they needed to catch up. Very good tight defensive series. So true, Love this quote. Back in the day when we first started playing 93 the guy who was our biggest and baddest Defensive Lineman would pummel your arm if you checked him after the whistle. It hurt and no one usually did it again. It is why fighting is needed in the NHL. Nothing personal donny I like to do it also. I just wish we could fight over it. One of the best features of 92 is if you do that. (Check after the whistle) #1 You will have to fight. #2 You will serve the instigator penalty win or lose the fight. My favorite thing about playing KingRaph (NYR) in 92 is to pick fights (check after the whistle) with Ogrodnick (0 fight rating) and knock him out with one punch. The downside is I get an instigator and then Nicholls scores in 5 seconds on the PP. The even worse downside is I late hit someone else and raph knocks me out and buries the PP goal. All of this is about consequences. I really could care less about the checking thing. I find it fun and funny. (As long as I am not playing that big D-Lineman.) The deadline thing I do not get. If you sign up. Play your games. No league should last more than 2 months and playoffs should be a couple weeks. #1 Plenty of great guys around who will play games. (The Original thought behind GENstlemen Club) #2 Stop putting up with people who don't play or delay things. #3 Make exceptions when needed. Skeletor missed a deadline in our 92 league but he communicated he was out of town and caught up quickly. Pearate obviously deserves an exception here.

Disagree. It is a choice we make. The players that I coach know that if I say practice starts at 2 and they show up at 2 they will be running because that is late. If I say the bus is leaving at 6 am and they show up at 6 am we will be gone. It is only a problem once. Mind you these are teenagers of today and I have zero issues. I make the choice not to wait. ? Easy to do using Smozrom and EARE. I can help you but the #1 thing around here is to help yourself first. It took me a long time to learn how to do logos and I still don't have it perfected. Again, I would be happy to help with logos. Red and Blue would be easy. Personally, I like penalties on. EvenTableHockey.bin AKA: TomKabs no luck rom. e-sports rom. No wt bug fix. (Classic) Home/Away, PP/PK, Offense/Defense all set the same strongest setting for each team using EARE. Option 2 on Smozrom (Players are the same every game.) All rosters and lines are set the same. I used building lines with AJ, KingRaphs team rankings, and TomKabs forward rankings to determine the roster. Detroit had the best group of forwards. I did not want to just use the 10 best players in the game as I thought that might make the teams too good. So I went with Detroit, but added Patty Roy in Net and replaced Coffey with Don Sweeney. Cheveldae is your backup goalie. Set the lines to try and keep best guys on ice, but also with Penalties off not much change to the lineup outside of injuries. Pens off also takes the randomness or luck of penalties out of the game. Who is best with the sticks! Great Call Labs and what a great league top to bottom and it came down to the last day for the Presidents Trophy. For the 7 and 8 seeds. The 7 and 8 seeds gave #1 and #2 all they could handle at the end of the season. Darko gave away the Lady Byng trophy on the last day and it seems to be paying off. If you look at St. Louis's improvement at the end of the season it is now Darko has them playing with a physical edge. That said Skeletor won the Lady Byng and has LA firing on all cylinders with a finesse game. Every team seems to be hitting their stride. I will have an end of regular season write up and playoff preview and playoff rom and instructions all posted later tonight.
