  1. I understand your reasoning for Jamonica, EA, he would also be my first choice, but he stated in a post somewhere on this forum that he would not be available in the very near future and that is not going to solve our current problem. It kind of feels like that im the only one really voicing anything here, so maybe Dmitry should just make a decision and we need to reform the committee.
  2. What would you call the rented mule behind the controller getting scored on all game?
  3. looks like we have a choice betwen bo, brownmagic, and stan (sciaticattack?), i dont know if im leaving out anyone, but my vote goes to brownmagic, he showed interest early and he plays games.
  4. Posts like this make me wonder if you have really dropped the *cough medicine*, but no matter. Jamonica pulled himself out of the running when he said he would not be around to play games in the very near future. So while he may be the best choice, hes not available. Dmitry wanted to give JJ until the end of the weekend, so even if we do have a decision, it wouldnt kick into effect until tomorrow. Im beginning to agree with you though about the size of the committee, i as well have had thoughts that the committee is perhaps too large, 3 would be more effective, it just seemed like a more fair representation of the league with 5, it is something worth taking into consideration.
  5. I wouldnt quite agree with hard ass because my foot never started hurting from the ass kicking i gave you both times this season.
  6. Two points id like to make here. First of all for a player of your supposed level of play, its pretty lame to be whining about weight bug when you have a 4, 2 7's, an 8 and a 9 when i have a 4, 3 6's and a 9. There isnt much of a difference there, but you can complain all you want because it says more about you than about how i choose to draft. Second point, how do you explain you out hitting me at a nearly 2-1 clip?I thought you were crying about weight bug, yet you still out hit my by a huge margin, kind of a contradiction isnt it? p.s. its ok to be jealous of terry yake.
  7. You can throw that predicition out about the record out, it aint gonna happen especially after the buffalo barrage that st.louis just suffered from recently.
  8. im down with brownmagic, he showed interest before and he has a good attitutde.
  9. All right boys, we've been putting this off long enough. We need to do something about JJ and we should do it soon. Either JJ, you need to post on the boards or log on or something showing us you still want to play. IF we dont hear from you within a day or two we will take action. Now, scribe, gr81, kings, matt, lets hear your guys input on what should be done and who he should be replaced with if you do take action here within a day or two. I say we drop JJ, ive had a few discussions with him before on this topic and he still loves playing, but hes tired of losing, its a tough situation to be in, so we drop JJ but invite him back next season in hopes of things being different. As far as a replacement goes, im not really sure who is out there still available, now is a great time for suggestions or for guys to throw their hat into the ring for consideration, it is not first come first serve. We will evaluate our choices and make a decision based on what we come up with.
  10. Hey guys, i know havent been around too much this last week, school is really starting to kick my ass. Im about to graduate, but before i can do that i still have my current classes going on and finals coming up along with a multitude of other obligations i have going on along with being on the hunt for a job still. Ill try to make it on as much as possible as the season wraps up, but if you dont see me often, dont get too alarmed.
  11. congratulations on the marriage donch, your showing the world that you can play NHL 94 online and still get a chick to marry you, it brings hope for us young bucks like me. As far as your spot in the league it looks like you might be able to finish out the season since your even is a little less than a month away. Playoffs might be a problem if you got there. We can go two routes, you play out the season and then see what happens with playoffs, or we can replace you now and let you back in next season. Let me know how you feel about it.
  12. Looks like it counted 4 times.
  13. For instance, a past event we would have handled is the selection of the new Edmonton manger. We would factor serveral different things such as skill level, experience, interest in league, and whether or not a person has any reccomendations from other members of the league. About the Belfour thing, it will be resolved.
  14. During the past few months we have seen dmitry work hard for all of us at this league despite his busy schedule. In an effort to help him out Kingscuprun and I decided it would be beneficial for dmitry and the league to have a committee help run things along concerning managers, rules, disputes, and any other issues that may arise. In our discussion we came up with 5 people that we felt would bring in a wide array of viewpoints and opinions to the committee in order to hopefully give everyone a voice. We feel that the amount of respect the people we selected have for each other, that they can be an effective tight knit group that can get the job done. These 5 people include: Matthurray Kingscuprun93 Angryjay93 scribe99 gr8199 In this group there are varying experience levels and opinions on subjects as well as looking for and testing out newer ways to improve our online playing experiences. This group would make decisions as a whole and then propose anything we come up with to dmitry for proposal. I have personally talked to Dmitry about this subject and he has approved such a group. If anyone has any questions concerning further details about what we will do, objections to whom was included in the group, or anything else considering the situation, please feel free to post and let your opinion be known.
  15. It looks like 2 players have seperated themselves a good way from the pack and are on pace to obliterate the record set last season by Mario Lemieux (210 points). Which one of these point machines do you think will take home the Art Ross this season?
  16. no matter how obvious something looks, you cant forget anything can happen. just look at last years playoffs, talk about the world being turned upside down.
  17. I know you were kidding around, i didnt put enough of an emphasis on sarcasim in my post. I just find it funny that people will say all this stuff about Tomas "please hit me" Sandstrom
  18. "AngryJay, how about a Sandstrom trade? I've got a fresh Craig "Put Me In Coach" Simpson that's waiting to make an immediate impact on your roster." This is only about the 10th request by someone in the league that has said Sandstrom should be banned, benched, or traded away from my team. Will it ever end?
  19. i know your addressing me, so i will respond to your post. Please dont tell me how to win, if i want to feed a guy the puck because he is shooting very well in a game, then im going to give him the puck if i so choose, if you dont like it, stop the guy then, its obvious what the game plan is. Furthermore, whats the difference between scoring a lot with one player as opposed to scoring with multiple players? the end result is the same.
  20. ok, im all signed up, im ready for some tampa hockey.
  21. Hey, there was one thing i caught concerning some players and their weight. It looks like that a few players weigh 140 lbs. when they should weigh something else, this is pretty important because of weight bug, so here is what i found. Calgary: Paul Fenton 180 lbs. Hartford: Mike Tomlak 204 lbs. Minnesota: Doug Smail 172 lbs. Montreal: Mike Mcphee 204 lbs. Winnipeg: Teppo Numminen 196 lbs.
  22. Tonight in the Memorial Auditorium the Canadiens took it to the perfect Buffalo Sabers in a 5-3 victory to end the 19 game winning streak which is a new league record. The habs got out to a solid start and were able to hold off a desperate Buffalo team who had created enough chances to win, but thanks to Partick Roy, the Canadiens defense and a little bit of luck , the Habs skated off the victors. "Its a tough pill to swallow knowing that we did play well enough to win, but we just didnt get the right bounces or breaks out there, that stuff happens in a long season," said defenseman Don Sweeney. Hopefully though this loss wont last long in the memory of Sabres players as they have some difficult games upcoming on there schedule. "If we are a good team we will get over this loss and come back the next game ready to play hard, if we let ourselves be affected, then were not as good as that record says, this is our first major test of the season," said manager Juicer Maker.
  23. I think i speak for most everyone here, its great to have you back hokkee, we love your antics.
  24. That was one hell of a series you had going on there dude. Game winning over time goals in gmaes 6 and 7 is one sweet way to take down the habs with the harmless whalers. Its all about yake time in game 6 overtime.
