Blitz & Gdl depleting it for a spring or fall session is not a great thing, but it wouldn't be a bad thing. Classic is hardly the bragging rights for championships. Just warn guys about dnps and being banned from future classic leagues type thing. Keeps guys who can't/won't do blitz/Gdl & classic from signing up.

I like classic on set schedule & think it should never be cancelled. Even if only 6-8 coaches of old join, you'd still have all the new blood coming in. I'm not sure how much work goes into setting up the site for these things though so I might be speaking for other peoples labor.

I'd like to see team shot power as a skill factored in somewhere as a curiousity. My guys can't even reach the goalie from where some of your shots were going in. Someone out one in from behind the blue line on me. If I'm not point blank, mine don't go in, and if I am, the still don't always hit the net. So is assume that shots fired is equal to shot power for most coaches, minus coach Mac. He has some shooters & obviously needs to open up the play book a big!!!

At some point during game testing, I'm sure a replay had to come available of Madman Ray Bourque crashing behind the opposing teams goalie and wreaking all kinds of non-hockey havoc. Was it a conscience, this is cool, we need more cowbell type thing?? Or one of those things you tried to correct it but once the crazy was in there, it took on it's own entity & just couldn't be taken out??

Did you inherently find yourself rooting for the LESS filling commercials in the 80"s & if so, how do you feel it influenced you towards the weight bug & creating/immortalizing one JR Roenick??

Some times, you can watch a team and see, that's not a good playoff team, or that team's not even gonna make the playoffs. Kings lost the last 3 as of this post, and are 2-5-3, which is not a good sign, and while only 5 points back of Vancouver for the last spot, before them is Colorado, Minnesota & Dallas, which have a lot of young blood on their rosters. When playoff watching, it's not just how far back you are of getting in, but the number of teams you have to pass to get to that playoff spot. I don't see the Kings in the post-season this year (as shocking as it is to type), I think Minnesota over takes Vancouver and I don't think Boston plays Montreal this year. Don't have any thoughts on Edmonton's draft.

I've scored one timers off the wall after passing it off the wall, one timer passes that missed my guy, hit the goalie and bounced back to me to be one timed in, and other various combos. To me, it didn't seem to have a "timer" but the guy who was being passed to is the only guy eligible to shoot the one timer. So, if the pass missed him and I switched to someone else, he is not eligible to shoot the one timer. Also, if you are skating down the ice chasing a loose puck that you passed, there is a time where you have to be careful or your guy tries to one time it rather than retrieve the puck, and you end up w/ an icing call. So, to ME, these examples show me numerous times where the "one time" option seemed to go well passed any timer you are looking for, and more to some specific code. I mentally understand it to be if you switch to someone after you were the one who passed the puck, and the player you switched to is a) not in possession of the puck, and b ) in the offensive zone, and c) hit "C", the player will attempt to one time the puck. I would look for where the game gives that check, and try to disable it. Not look for a timer, but I could be dead wrong here.

Direct connect requires changing your internal IP settings and setting up your router properly and going around firewalls more than the standard download & install Hamachi does. So, if you struggle setting up Hamachi, I can only imagine the amount of hair you would yank trying to go to direct connect. Plus, it only works for the HOST, so even if you have it, but your opponent doesn't, you still need Hamachi/Server to play his games. That said it is much faster and almost completely void of disconnects.

I'm pretty sure you guys would be getting quite a few punches from me w/ all this queer holding I'm seeing in '92.

Look forward to besting this prediction. Came close to losing my first controller last night, as I'm up 4-1 vs Raph in NY & controlling the game middle of the 3rd. Gartner drops a long range missle from so deep my team cant even reach from there!! Post goal, I start a fight & lose my best two players to fighting penalties. One thing philly has is a really bad, slow, weak bench. Raph smells the blood. & runs off 4 more goals in like 1 1/2 minutes. Joystick has some dents but stick in tact.

Replace muller. Stuck w/ statsny then. John & Claude are musts I'm also ready to go tonight, if rom is & anyone else is.
