Hello, Is there any way of adding additional goalies via the NOSE editor??? Or could it be a addition to a later release of NOSE???

I just used NOSE to create the bin file for the draft league. Everything seemed to be fine until i edited the lines and changed some of the goalie bytes so i could have 2 goalies instead of 3. Now the main menu screen freezes when it tries to show the players. Any idea what is causing this? and what exactly are the goalie bytes? thanks for any help

I'm fiddling around with the 30-team hack (copied the version of the ROM so that I could make my own ratings), and I noticed that the overall team ratings stay very low. Is that normal for the overall team ratings not to change, or is there a way I can change that myself? BTW, great job on the editor EDIT: I just thought of it. This could be moved to the Editing the Game part of the forum, since we're dealing with my editing of an NHL 94 rom. Sorry that I didn't think about it sooner

Hi! First of all I'd thank you for this magnificent editor. I was wondering if NOSE could have "Export to text" feature. I mean the kind of system where you could export all the data of the players to normal txt-file. This would be a handy feature for user to analyse the player attributes. Especially it's handy for Draft leagues where you have to pick the kind of players you want. Because tha data is already in the NOSE the implementation might not be so difficult. I think the output could be something like this: Buffalo Sabres F Daniel Briere 40 36 5 4 4 4 2 4 1 1 4 4 6 1 4 2 F J.P. Dumont 17 37 8 4 4 4 2 3 2 0 4 4 4 2 3 2 ... So it's position, name, JNo, OvR…

Maybe I'm blind and missed this, but is there a trade function? Great tool for working with rosters, but having the ability to swap players between teams easily would be awesome. Hopefully I'm just missing it and being an idiot. If anyone has any tips on the fastest way to trade players between teams (possibly using a spreadsheet where the entire roster would be assembled then pasted en masse?) that would be great. Thanks.

I'm trying to make the NHL 93 Rosters with the NHL 96 version. Does anyone know how to make the players a certain type of player? Like for the Buffalo Sabres, I want to make Pat LaFontaine get a lot of assists, and Mogilny get more goals than assists. Any one know how to do this?

I'm trying to change the number of forwards on a roster with NOSE. Currently it is set at F which is 13. I don't want to mess with it so can a vet tell me what each value from 0-F is.

While many may be disappointed to hear there is still no Player Card support, Tile/Graphics Editor or even SNES support, the 1.1b release does introduce a few mildly exciting features including: - Goalie/Player Overall Ratings.... (see notes.txt for more info) - Easier navigation of records from within Edit windows - More accurate representation of the Genesis' Hex BGR color palette... See changes.txt for the complete list... big and small. I'll see what I can muster up for the next release... stay tuned... Enjoy, wboy.

Some odd things I noticed while using NOSE to edit NHL 95 were: - The line changes you set up do not actually take place in the game - If you change a player's number, the change only shows in the "Team Rosters" menu and not during gameplay Any clue on why this could be?
