NBA Live 98' Enthusiasts!!! Exciting news to share with you all. NBA Live 98' has been brought back to life. A refresh, a restart, or a redo, however you want to say it. The game has the following features ; new and improved and what to expect moving forward. Updated logos of all teams (including New Orleans Pelicans as the Exhibition play as the old Blockers) and the OKC Thunder (updated logos, jerseys and court) Updated Rosters for the 2019-20 season Updated ratings - statistics to come for 2021! What to expect moving forward: Annual Roster updates. Logo changes. Court colors and logo changes. Jerseys updated to proper coloring. Menus to be changed and colored based on tributes (2021 - Kobe Bryant (purple and yellow, and maybe the #8/24 on the baselines) Please provide any feedback for what you would like to see or want. This is f**king dynamite! A big "Thank You" to @Triple A and @Xstioph for the doing the dirty work on the ROM and setting the league stuff up. Also i swear i didn't look at the updated team rankings when i picked, but I took Chicago bc i figured they'd at least be "better than good" since it's still '94 and b/c i'm a total Blackhawks homer who may have a had few soda-pops while watching the CHI-EDM series wrap-up from the cu playoffs this year. And it looks like i got pretty lucky in terms of my pick (counterpoint: if i can't pick well at #3 then i deserve my lot in life). Regardless, I'm really looking forward to this league and, as they say in Canada, "f**kin' Eh!" (At least that's what I've heard. I'm American, so i don't really know what they say in Canada b/c i'm not f**king allowed to travel up there at the moment haha)

We don't even know when the US/Canada will open to cross border travel.

The bytes are there, but i'm not sure if they impact anything.

Hello - I absolutely would like to attend an event in Minneapolis however I cant see myself committing anytime soon and/or until there is some change to current affairs. Plus, considering I have not seen a coworker, friend or family member in person in over 5 months (excluding my wife who now is all 3) my next trip, two or three is to visit those people I have been unable. At this rate I am hoping to be able to go back to Dallas for Christmas without having to drive it from in NYC.

@Asher413 very interesting stuff! Yeah I have noticed that too on the slots. I made a super team and simmed when @kingraph was working on the 95 project. And the team did not fair any better. And the guys that took over the spots in the line up that were previously held by top players had great stat lines for the season. Good find too on the home/away stuff. Are there bytes at all that give extra advantage for home and away like 94 in a reg game? I don't think anywhere in the game or manual they talk about an advantage in 95.

Off topic: Just dropping by to say how cool I think this is. I'm realizing the naming could be better and not entirely satisfied with how it plays against ai so I'm very curious to know how it plays player VS player. I might have set the stick handling a bit too high overall. Please pm if you have any concrete suggestions. Make sure you grab the latest version I posted last year. Hi everyone! As a nice, little surprise, I have added the Seattle Kraken to my 2020 Playoff rom (NHL94 2020 vPO). There is no longer a NHL Prospects team. The Kraken players are based on the players from the 1917-1919 Seattle Metropolitans. 5 of them (Frank Foyston, Harry Holmes, Lester Patrick, Jack Walker and Gordie Roberts) are in the hockey hall of fame. The Mets were the first US-based team to win a Stanley Cup which they did in 1917. Around that time, Foyston was considered one, if not the, top skaters in hockey. Some of the players got some games in the NHL once that league started up but, by that time, were near the ends of their careers. I don't believe any of the players are alive today so, basically, you're playing with ghosts until the Kraken gets some players on their roster. LOL. Also, back in the early 1900s teams only carried 9-10 players so this particular roster has 2 goalies, 7 forwards and 5 defensemen. The rest of the teams have the usual 3/14/8 structure. Because they are an expansion team, I gave them a low team rating (same rating as Detroit, which is the lowest for 2020). However, they do have some good players on the team so it may not feel like an expansion team if you play as them. I have also added Seattle to the playoff brackets. They open against Vancouver. I also fixed a mistake in the brackets of my last PO rom (which this replaces). If you have any questions or if you notice any errors, please let me know. Enjoy! Cheers!
