U need to remember that hes 6-9 hours ahead in time. I have played a dozen games with him, however hes not on aim very often. His P2p connection is decent but his client ping was too hi to play in a server...

Sorry about the delay in my pick, i wasnt online till 6pm EST tonight. As for my comments so far, i found Belfour instead of roenick shocking. Klima was also, shocking, but understood after pills explanation. To each their own. However mogilny i feel is top 5 for sure.

I believe that team selection should be determined by league standing. That keeps it fair for everyone. U get to keep your team if u earned it. I agree with hokkee, coaches shouldnt just get to keep teams, with no discussion. Just an idea, its not a huge deal for me tho.

Played 15 games with P1tch (AIM=penginomint.) We split games 7 each, one extra for me. Hes one of the best players ive seen in a long time. Connections good. ggs, and welcome. Watch out for this dude, hes got crazy skillz

I just thought that I would let everyone know that I just played a newbie i randomly found on AIM. He has left a post in the new members thread. His AIM name is penguinomint. We played about ten games, and i managed to only win 6. His game is as solid as any of us and I want everyone to add his name to your AIM and see what im talking about. What makes him so impressive is that he has yet to play a game online, except with me and sungod of course. His game is so advanced that I will go out on a limb and say that he wins his rookie season. I have played alot of new guys, but with all due respect they have a long way to go to even contend. Pengino blew me out in 2 of those games, total domination. Before we played he mentioned that he was undefeated lifetime on the SNES. Hes played a a dozen guys too. So watch out SNES leaguers. I dont normally do this kinda thing, but i was so impressed by his skill, i had to say something. If I dare say it, he plays as well as EA, HABS or KG. I know its bold to say it, but i've played alot of games and hes right up there in that category, skill wise. I know he hasnt proved that he is as great as they are, but hes got that caliber skill. I guess what im trying to say is that there are alot of guys hiding out there that can really contend with us. So again his AIM is penguinomint and hes awesome, well done dude If u find what im saying hard to believe, just play the dude, prove me wrong.. It will be tougher than u think....TRUST ME....

Firstly id like to commend AJ for his dedication to improving the GDL and taking the time to make some suggestions and allow for a democratic system of decision making. Id like to respond point by point and give my 2 cents about the new suggestions for the league. I dont agree with a committee, however id like to see 2 main co-moderators to handle the immense work load associated with running the league. One who oversees the general procedings of the draft, overall league play and handle problems and disputes within the league. The other co-moderator should have extensive knowledge of the technical side of things, including experience in ROMS, uploading, web based editing and assisting in any general technical issue that arises. In addition this co-moderator should also have the jurisdiction to make decisions in regards to disputes and problems, in hopes to provide a fair decision be made between both co-moderators, to help any disputes be solved with a "second opinion" methodology. Two heads are better than one, in my opinion. As for shrinking the size of the league, i can understand how it would improve the flow of things. However i think there is a lot of interest in the GDL's up coming season. I agree with AJ if a ton of ppl sign up then lets leave things the way they are. I have a feeling there will be alot of new guys signing up. Games in pairs I can agree with and a 2 week downtime is also a good idea. I really dont have alot to say about the whole carse situation. I didnt read his gripe. I feel that he was hard done by what happened, im not saying i blame DD, i understand something had to be done, but some more sound planning for that situation should have been implemented prior to the beginning of the season, so that everyone understood where they stood before it was too late. I dont think he should be penalized, just give the man a chance to prove that he is in it for real. The quality of play will suffer if Carse is left out. Just my opinion. As for line changes i have to agree with smoz, dedicate another league for line changes perhaps. Although im not totally opposed to the proposition. I would also like to suggest that P2P be made mandatory to help with all the lag issues we all have had. Perhaps an official procedure should be implemented as well to address when lag is noticed. Thanks for the opportunity to voice my opinions, i know im fairly new around the site, its nice to know that everyone has a voice, and is entitled to share thoughts and suggestions. I have taken some bad losses, however one stands out in my mind. I was up 9-1 in the third to a buddy of mine on the console about a decade ago. I lost 10-9 in OT. 5 Min Periods. I was MTL he was PIT. I tryed to defend the lead by just playing zone D. Bad idea...Lemieux 6 goals. I really contemplated leaving the game that day, it was the worst feeling ever... I still cant understand how u lost so badly SSIG.....i cannot wrap my mind around 24 goals in a 5 min period game.... Tough loss bro.
