This formed a pretty good rivalry when it came to league games. -My first playoff series came in the Gens '11 league against kupuck. he won it in 6 in a spirited battle. -my career playoff record against wookie is 1-8... the last of which was my toughest loss in game 5 of the blitz 7 semi's. game was pretty epic tho. -biggest win also came in blitz 7, this in the quarterfinals in game 6 against sicarius. completing a 1st round upset as a 7 seed after it seemed he was destined to overcome a 3-0 series deficit. -My postseason history is too disgusting to talk about -On aim once I received a message from some halifax guy telling me to vote for '94 in some poll. he referred to me as bud numerous times and I was very confused -I eventually saw the light and now embrace "bud" in it's entirety

Hey the idea itself was fairly simple, clarifying it was much more difficult :-)

if I understand correctly, plabax is saying he was supposed to take over VAN last season, but wookie wound up taking over instead because I assume he couldn't for one reason or another. In that case, I don't think you would go to the top of the wait list unless there was some agreement made about that last season. if this does go through and you do get them, however, you would qualify as new since you're essentially re-entering rather than returning. lastly, keep the up-front protect picks. really no reason not to.

I think a 32 team league is inevitable with the way the realignment was setup. Could easily put a team in Seattle and another in Kansas City to have 4 divisions of 8. You're tapping into 2 very good sports cities and it works out geographically.

Had the "luxury" of playing kupuck's blitz 6 team and raph's blitz 7 team. thankfully, they were all exis. both of those teams were stacked. my only real experience of a draft team was my blitz 7 team, which I did like. had some fun with the Tinordi-Manson d-pairing. had a subpar regular season but a relentless playoff effort allowed them to reach the semi's before losing to wook's Leafs

I'd be glad to discuss. I agree that this is a great idea. A lot of times it can something so simple that makes a huge difference. Not that I have any real GDL experience but the game in general anyhow.
