because we've used it for 5 seasons and we already know who's good and who isn't. I say if you can do something about a bug in a game, fix it. The fact remains that this most certainly wasn't the way the game was meant to be played. It's so lopsided it's almost unfair to the other 95% of players in the game who aren't lightweights. Why can't they get some f**king action for once, for christ's sake. For the first time ever, Cam Neely and Eric Lindros might be able to lead the league in scoring. Defense will be tighter. The talent in the draft pool will increase dramatically (ESPECIALLY on defense), giving every team more depth. Coaches are able to mix and match light weight, fast players, and heavy bruisers to accommodate their style. Every pick will become that much more important, and with the stat tracking that gdl has, it would make for a very interesting season. I have all of these VERY convincing reasons as to why we should use the wgt bug fix, when all people who don't want to use wgt bug fix have is I DON'T LIKE CHANGE BAWL (see avatar for facial expressions). It's 2009, fellas. Why don't we shake things up a bit to bring in the new year?

I admit, even though I had a team i didn't like, this was probably the smoothest, least problematic season we've ever had. I'd be crazy to pass up another season. evatigen can have the rangers if he wants. If possible I'd like to have either the Minnesota North Stars or the Sharks.

this is so f**king retarded....I've never really complained about getting f**king shafted in every got damn league I play in but honestly. I tried getting with carse on the weekend and earlier this week (awesome idea ending the season right around the holiday btw) but he was obviously busy with school. On tuesd....you know what? forget it. I'm not even going to waste my f**king time. Punish me for coming into the season late and not getting all my games in. I go to a f**king funeral and i lose my spot in gdl. I can't get a hold of some scrub who hardly plays any of his games in classic and i get kicked out of the playoffs. I come into this league late and miss a few games and guess what happens? f**king. awesome. Happy motherf ucking holidays everybody.

I have Sebe, Carse, Icestorm, and Vocally Caged left to play. I'm available usually every night and some afternoons, I can't say for sure on which days.

oh sorry.... The ear is fine, the ringing is completely gone, but I think I may have lost some hearing in one ear. It's not that noticeable but the more I use headphones, the more i feel like one side is a tad louder to me than the other. I'm open to play games once again, though. Thanks for you guys support. I'll make sure never to go to shoegazer shows without earplugs again.

sup everyone, I'm going to be taking a short break from 94 season games in all the leagues i'm in. Since yesterday, i've had a pretty bad case of tinnitus, or ringing in the ear. Although it's only in one ear, I'm having trouble focusing or concentrating on anything, let alone games. I'm kinda trying to avoid the frustration of playing in games, as it's something that's difficult to deal with, so I apologize ahead of time for turning down games. Hopefully after getting some things cleared up with my doctor, I'll start playing soon after.

WHY in the hell is it so important that we TEST it with updated rosters? If anything it's just setting it up for failure, you have a bunch of guys staring at some 07/08 stats and assuming how good each and every single player is (i've always hated that about updated rosters. someone's judgment is ALWAYS questioned when it comes to ratings). So yeah, in addition to pretty much changing the gameplay, let's just wing some ratings as well and make a league out of it but DON'T TOUCH MAH PRECIOUS CLASSIC ROM NOOOES. Yeah. Makes a ton of f**king sense. WHAT PART OF 'MAKES THE DRAFT POOL A LOT BIGGER AND MAKES A TON MORE PLAYERS USEFUL IN THE DRAFT' don't you guys understand? The complaint was that the talent was spread out too thin, and the answer that resolves that problem is punching you in the face. Really. Really. Hard. Just man up and make the change, guys. So what if you can't have an unfair advantage that makes no sense whatsoever by having a team of lightweight players? AGAIN, how does this not sound appealing to everyone? This makes the game more competitive and gives it that (inhale) refreshing new game smell. but whatever. I'm guessing that's what everyone's trying avoid.

people don't realize that the wgt bug fix fixes the problem of the talent being stretched too thin. Heavy defensemen (most of them) are now a threat, but are still slow so people can still use lightweight players if they prefer to skate circles around the heavier players. The game is not that much slower as people keep saying, it still moves at a decent pace, but now the game actually makes sense. Not sure why people aren't as psyched up as I am to start using it in a league(and whatever the f**k they mean by testing the rom...just play it a few times to see if there are any noticeable flaws or errors, 94 already has bugs galore anyway, so yeah, i'm calling bullshit on that excuse). Then again, it's pretty apparent a lot of us are just afraid of change, I mean WE ARE still playing a 15 year old video game. I think I'm gonna hold off on signing up for any more leagues until this is implemented.

i'd also like to sign up too, just to see what could be SO radically wrong with the rom that he shouldn't even be considered for use in any other league.
