I didn't realize at first that you were from the other side of the pond. I know how it can be frustrating to communicate in a language that's not your native one. I experienced the same thing when I studied overseas. So, hey man, I hope there's no hard feelings. I don't mind the trash talking with you but I really don't want to upset the community. And if the last thing I want to do is cause more work for the admins. Evan assembled an amazing site and I'm happy to be part of it.

Just to appease you, I studied and travelled all around Europe for almost a year. It's true, I don't know 4 1/2 languages like you do but then again, I really don't need to. Why do you know so many? Oh that's right, if you didn't know that many, you wouldn't be able to communicate with anyone b/c no one's learning finnish anytime soon.

Dude, that costume was awesome! You're only downfall was getting wrapped into conversations with guys about what year is the best. We all know 94 is the shiznit. You needed to spend more time figuring out how the girl dressed as the dirty cop was going to be able to handcuff you to the bed with no armholes cut in your costume. ;-) Let me say again, you did an amazing job with the outfit.

I love the list so far... great thread. Goulet out of the lineup is the best one, I was cracking up when I read that b/c it doesn't get any more true than that. I have several others I would like to add: Thou shalt remember that Gretzky was made into a powerhouse for 94, but only b/c people felt bad for him being such a wuss in 93. Thou shalt recognize that you should always feel good about injuring someone for a gamer, unless it's Lemieux (b/c we all know if you fart in his direction, he'll keel over). You shalt always be cooler if you stop a breakaway with a flying burrito from your goalie. It shall never be your fault that you have to use all 3 LA Kings goalies in one game.

Lets be honest, it was a nice goal but nothing special. If you want to check out some amazing goals, you should view Clockwise's highlight reel on youtube. Holy Shiznit. If you can top some of those, I would love to watch them! Sorry, I don't have the link... I think Addisonbr gave me it but I'm sure you can search it as well.

Hey Setar, that site that addison gave you is legit. I bought my adapter cord there about a month ago. Came in the mail a couple days later. Also, you can buy Gen controllers off ebay pretty cheap. They even come in the six button format. Don't worry about the online purchase thing. You'll be fine.

If you have internet, you can play online. Everything to play is right on the nhl94.com page. If you need adapter cords for a Gen or Saturn controller, go to retrousb.com. For the cake you're going to throw down on a flight, hotel, preadolescent Taiwanese boys, go buy yourself a cpu and get some internet. I am all for the hotel tourney but lets face it, it's going to take awhile to organize. And Mr. Seed, please refrain from your trash talking until you play some of the competition here. Honestly, you think there's a site set up in this level of detail and it's just a bunch of hacks pushing the puck around? Win a few here and then you can bark.

I'm sure we could organize a tourney through this site. It seems like other tourney's are organized here as well, i.e. the 2on2 tourney. I would get in for sure. Name the ante, I would love to play for a little cake.

Chicago does make the most sense if everyone were going to do it and I'm not just saying that because I live in Chicago. We have the largest number of possibilities for convention centers here and of course it's centralized. But if we knew who was seriously considering it, then we could decide location based on what area was bringing the most people to the tourney. If it were in Chicago, I wouldn't have a problem putting up some people either.

I would definitely be in for that. Evan, what do you think? Throw a line out there, see what kind of interest there is? Could even make it an annual event with a real cup. A lot of possibilities there.

Where is a reputable site to pick up a Sega Gen/Saturn pad that is USB compatible? Or where can I find a converter for my Gen pad? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
