Nah man.. I know I dont do anything as commissioner, but realistically, it should be looked at like this. ONE league with a good admin will have a better completion rate and be more fun than TWO leagues running at the same time with good admins. Reason why.. A lot of people signed up for multiple leagues only have the time to play ONE league.. Example, wookiee had to drop classic. Classic has a good admin, but he dropped classic for GDL. If they were run at different times, wookie would be able to play in BOTH leagues and not just ONE. Not only are there less players in the leagues now, but less games will be played too. If the admins have to be GOOD, then enjoy the time when you have to kick Carse and Icestorm out of big leagues like GDL.

You can't start a new season while the finals are being played? :/ lol not a good reason. Even with the best admins, at the end of the day you can't REPLACE somebody during the playoffs. The playoffs can very well enter the next league if needed to. Even so, people are not going to be able to play 4 leagues at once, which is why the leagues die. Starting with the start of Fall Classic this should be taken into consideration.

Classic Spring for both along with GDL/SDL Classic Fall for both along with Blitz/Juiced I think that is good It will grow those draft league since the noobs who come to nhl94online will see it right away and they will sign up. Also for Gens they will learn about the weight bug from the start. Since I have started 37272777 leagues I think this input isn't bad.

This thread will be a thread where you can request what you would like to see on the GDL website and I'll try to add it. Things like all-time player stats or player records are examples of what you can request. I'm hoping to set these all up for GDL 11 so the GDL history will be more in-depth

This can also happen if the player runs into the goalie. Im sure all gens players have seen it. But anyone can injure in Gens94 regardless of stats so I dont know what the factors are.

Extension with all the GDL GAS going on we need a bit more games played but it will be tough with GDL going on.. We'll see what happens

Checking on this some stats are crazy. Jagr has 10 Wgt, 6 Spd and a 5-6 shot in his prime! That seems unstoppable, would definitely be more fast paced and higher scoring than regular 94 rosters. A real question is - I've a league website coming along, but what kind of league should be hosted on it??

You need an emulator to play the GENS ROM. The emulator should be gens.exe, open that and then go to Open Rom, and find nhl94.bin

I said that because l think he thinks Auto Goalie is the norm here. In SNES an Auto Goalie shootout tournament winner will be whoever hits the post the least, Don't really think it would be fun to sit through 17 rounds of watching the same move go in until someone hits the post. Especially after your ranting of TheScore tournament with Auto Goalie and GDL 93, there is no doubt my comment is only going to improve his tournament, and not make it worse.

Weight fix would make it more balanced for sure, There are a lot of quick people to choose from and a lot of heavy guys that wouldn't go to waste. Anyway, I will have a spreadsheet with all 1000 players and their overalls by tonight probably if you're interested in seeing it.

Nobody plays with Auto Goalie.

I was looking at the ratings from 94-98 and thought of something. The idea is you take all the players from 94-98 and put them into a pool for drafting. A player's stat is determined by the average of that stat category over the years the played. Example - Shot Powers of 3,3,4,4 and 4 throughout 94-98 will give the player A shot power of 4. You can prime TWO or maybe THREE players you draft. This means you can choose what you think their best season was and take it as their stats. Example - Brian Leetch becomes a 98 overall if you take his stats from NHL 97, or Paul Kariya becomes a whooping 106 OVR if you take it from NHL 98 With the high-low ratings in 94-96 and mid-high ratings in 97-98, a lot of players stay the same if they didn't have a breakout season and you dont prime them. Guys like Cliff Ronning, Theoren Fleury, Brian Bradley have similar stats to 94, while guys like Keith Tkachuk are boosted heavily from their breakout seasons. Something like that wouldnt be too bad, if you play it smart you could end up with a great team. Whether the weight bug would be in or not is something I don't know. If the weight bug was in maybe people would play it smarter by drafting Gretzky and priming for his 4-4 shot, I don't know. This is up for Discussion
