  1. Here's a link to the draft list (can update it as we go..): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlcXzXSd2U-8dE1tOHI2czhsTVRhT0J5dTBQSzQ5Smc&usp=sharing Trying to embed it into a post, but can't remember how to do it.
  2. Leafs - of course. Are we drafting new teams? Not sure we can call it GDL without dadonch having some involvement... I know he's super busy..
  3. Let's really push each other to get near full league completion in each division. Can we agree on a couple nights a week where most guys will be available? Mid week evenings are best for me - but if we could schedule another I can probably book some time. Jer
  4. Awesome.. "thirty more years of this, you get a tiny pension and a cheap gold watch." ~ Harry Temple, Speed (1994)
  5. I made the same mistake. It's not "importing" it's "Load Buddy List". And to download the list you need to "Save Link as.." Cheers, Jer
  6. So, if it's a pond hockey rom - can we edit out the boards for snowbanks?
  7. If you are also a gmail chat user, once you've got your buddies in AIM you can easily import them into google chat here: http://www.aim.com/import-to-gmail/
  8. Anyone ever play: http://www.hockey.tk/login.cws Java based hockey - using a mouse. Tough to master, but really fun.
  9. Woo, I'm out of the C league... errrr.. wait..
  10. I will guarantee that most players seriously look at wiring in after desyncing a league game that they are winning.. and it's not a matter of "if", but "when".
  11. Plug one end into the back of your modem or router, and the other into the ethernet port on the side or back of your laptop. Windows will know what to do.
  12. We should be adding a link to the Spring Classic registration in the comments (if allowed).
  13. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/10-greatest-things-ea-sports-nhl-94-roenick-143029155--nhl.html#more-53758 Great write-up and link at Puck Daddy today couldn't be more perfect for this community.
  14. BTW - just out of curiosity, what is the team offset if I wanted to peel the player attributes out with the Hockey Roster Tool?
  15. DItto - played a game last night and it's really good. Dreaming of a future drafted league with these players.
  16. I play on a laptop with a 15ft cable to my router. If I don't, it'll drop games way more often.
  17. Playing through wifi will give unpredictable connections, best to be wired to your modem or router.
  18. It may just be a bad connection (hamachi), or might be that one of the PCs has a slow connection speed. You can also play "server" using client protocol instead of P2P. Don't worry too much about Classic, as long as you have all the required software and a good wired highspeed connection you'll be good.
  19. I've definitely lost my controller, but like kingraph said, it's because of clicking AIM or Hamachi. Clicking back will usually work immediately, though I have had instances both online and vs. CPU where the controller will lock in-game and my skater will tear off in one direction. Clicking out and back in will usually clear it up.
  20. The roster stuff is fairly easy to do in NOSE, the tough part would be finding volunteers to do some graphics work. At the very least, a 20th splash screen and maybe some work to the scoreclock. When "real 93-94 rosters" is discussed, is it just moving some players around - or will it require creating new players?
  21. I'd love it if we could write an article - or pass on an older article talking about the advances made to the game online like the discovery of the weight-bug (and it's fix), the addition of a dedicated "goalie button". Basically all of teh retro work that has been accomplished years after the games release.
