  1. Absolutely. The site is still being worked on (progress is slow when we do this on the side) but the previous league winners will show up on the homepage.
  2. Hey everyone, Just wanted to give an update that the Fall 2009 Classic '94 season WILL be happening and it WILL be using the nhl94online.com website. We are targeting registration sometime next month (September), so please keep this in mind if you plan on signing up. I'd hate to see anyone miss registration so please spread the word. Registration will be done through the nhl94online.com website (when we announce registration has begun). I'll modify the rules page soon, but it's going to be the same general rules as before. We'll have more instructions about what you'll need to do as a coach in the league but the veterans can expect pretty much the same. The amount of Gens/Snes leagues will depend on how many users sign up. This post is more just an update that things are in motion, and the season is coming up soon. There's no set dates yet, but we'll be finalizing these very soon. If you do have any questions at this time, please ask! Hope this season is a success! -Evan
  3. This is outstanding. Clock, how long did it take for you to gather all the '94 in game footage needed for the video? Thanks for sharing this! -Evan
  4. Hey Wags, I would first try to get the computer's display looking right before even running Gens. Maybe toggle the display down to 16-bit, hit apply and then set it back to 32-bit and see if the quality of the desktop image improves? If it's stuck then I wonder if something's wrong with the videocard. Can you play Call of Duty or browse the web with normal video quality? Anything else weird happening with the computer recently? -Evan
  5. Just to help out with keeping the league moving throughout the season, maybe contact guys who go inactive to see if they're still playing their games, etc. I mean most of the active players would probably be helping out by default. -Evan
  6. Chaos has been hard at work getting the code done for the updated nhl94online.com website. I'll be running the site along with any other volunteers. Hang in there, we'll have more details soon. -Evan
  7. Interesting project. Checked out the file, and seems cool though I find website navigation to be more intuitive then scrolling all around the excel document. Maybe you could have both excel and website versions of your project. Thanks for sharing. -Evan
  8. Yes, Halifax is correct. If you'd like your display name changed you'll have to PM me. (This won't change your login information) -Evan
  9. When playing on the console, my friends and I would purposely throw the controllers at the Cartridge/Genesis either during a junk game or after a game to see if the game would freeze, and if so what error message would come up. The game and console took tons of abuse and never failed to work. Got to love old hardware. Don't make them like they used to. Now if my Wii cable is bent the wrong way it won't turn on. -Evan
  10. Hey with the original ROM I would definitely take out Brind Amour and Lindros for Eklund, and either Dineen or Lomakin when line changes are off. -Evan
  11. Hah, nah it's cool. Someone's gotta be the first to go. I know how to pick them. -Evan
  12. Damn, I'm going to be the first one out of the '94 pool! -Evan
  13. Thanks for the information Trent. Don't have time now, but I'll definitely check this out. -Evan
  14. Well done guys, Statto thanks for running the league! -Evan
  15. Yea, if that league is definitely going active again I'll move it. Seems like shaftman is running with it, right? Re: Clockwise Thanks for the website checking Clockwise. So the latest Safari is still killing that menu, eh? Believe it or not, the community stats box was intentional as when a longer username was the most recent, it looked better that size. Doesn't bother me the way it stretches but thanks for the heads up. -Evan
  16. Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that the navigation menu should now work in all current web browsers. Let me know if anyone still encounters any problems when using the website. I don't use Chrome, so I haven't tested in that one though I submitted the website to a browser checker and it seemed to be cool. Also, I updated the Online Gaming tab to reflect all the active leagues (same order as in the Active Leagues forum). You may need to right-click the menu and refresh or update for the latest info to show. Thanks! -Evan
  17. Yep, hope everyone has a good 4th of July weekend. -Evan
  18. I voted "more then you do", since I probably have about 10 copies. Maybe I'll take a picture of all my classic gear as well. -Evan
  19. That's probably what will happen, and with good reason. -Evan
  20. I've seen this bug as well, though I haven't mentioned it on the bugs page. This happens because the one timer pass isn't considered to be touched by the skater (go figure). If you notice, one timer shots aren't always recorded as a shot on goal in the stats either. -Evan
  21. Just to help clarify rules: All a user has to do is post their availability in the Schedule A Game thread if you're having problems meeting up through AIM. This post on the forums shows your efforts to getting your games in. If your opponent doesn't reply or make a post about their availability you move on. Being on AIM a lot can't prove you were attempting to play a game. The Classic league usually uses this guideline for all games. -Evan
  22. Hey guys, I'm planning on adding a few sub-forums to this section to help find information easier. It will have: - Subforum for General Questions/Discussion - Subforum for all the How To's, Tutorials, and Reference posts for Gens - Subforum for all the How To's, Tutorials, and Reference posts for Snes - Subforum download section for all the updated Rom's posted (and future posts) (Keeping the NOSE and Mack's Hacks Subforums) I'd like to thank wboy, mack, clockwise, Tony, smozoma, statto, and everyone else who's made this section full of excellent information to edit the Gens and Snes versions of the game. We've really collected and learned so much, and I don't want this info to get lost in the shuffle. Many thanks as well to all the users who post their Rom's for everyone, and to the guys who answer questions regarding editing. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas to help organize the editing section please post them here! Also, if you'd like to share any notes that may not be on the forums by all means post them. Thanks guys. Looking forward to making this section cleaner. -Evan
  23. Statto, thanks for taking over this season. Looks like things went pretty smooth. Nice work! -Evan
  24. Well, it took a little while but I've finally added this to the editing section of NHL94.com for everyone's convenience. -Evan
