  1. It doesn't cost points.. you have to do the Zelda Twilight hack thing. My bro just told me all about it. You can also download all sorts of emulators that will run on your Wii. I'm going to try to get this working.. I just need to borrow the Zelda game from someone. On another note - I was playing all our different NHL 94 ROMs on his nintendo DS. It was pretty sweet!
  2. Well I am not happy with my picks of Doug Gilmour and Joe Niewendyk, but I still have fun playing SDL games. I'll play more draft league games with whoever is interested. Anytime I'm on AIM, I'm pretty much looking for a game. I have a new saying/rhyme for this: "If you see me on AIM, it means that I'm game." What do you think? Maybe I'll add it to my signature.
  3. lol no problemo my man. Idea - try telling Jamie Baker he's from Northern Ontario and see what he says.
  4. Please change to Eastern Ontario Senators. Ottawa is considered Eastern Ontario. Northern Ontario is like North Bay, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, the Soo..
  5. Hmm, never seen so much print devoted to Bob Kudelski in one article about '94. Props to 'barstool sports', whoever the heck that is.
  6. 4/10 for replay is total BS. It should have gotten infinity/10 for replay value.
  7. I can't see the article because I'm at work and it's blocked.. I will have a look tonight and see what this is all about.
  8. The guy wrote Troy Long instead of Troy Loney... obviously not a big fan of '94. Decent blog entry though.. nice to see 94 get some more publicity.
  9. The article also says there's a special all-time Habs team available in NHL 09.. is that true?
  10. Hello Genesis people, I am curious who made up all the player ratings for this rom?
  11. I remember buying NHL '95 for PC back around 1998 or 1999. It had the regular nhl 95 cover art, but it was bordered by gold and was called an "EA Classic Title" or something like that. I bought it because it looked like NHL '94, but like the previous poster said, it had 4 lines, season mode, trades, edit or create a player?, etc. I think it even had a ref on the ice that you could actually run into (but my memory is fuzzy on that one). I remember updating my Sens roster to include guys like Sergei Zholtok and Denny Lambert. The thing that made it good though was that the gameplay wasn't like NHL 95 on SNES, it was much closer to NHL '94 on SNES. It was pretty sweet, but the gameplay wasn't quite as sweet as NHL'94 on SNES. I should have the CD lying around the house somewhere so maybe I will have a look for it one of these days, and give it a whirl. Is it available for download?
  12. So just curious.. where did the player ratings for this rom come from? or who created them? Just looking at Ottawa player ratings, and they're actually not bad at all. Should make for a fairly realistic representation of the actual players.
  13. No, they have a new coach for the 2nd season in a row. Murray was not a new coach in 06/07 because that was his 2nd year as coach. Hartsburg is their 3rd coach in less than a year though. Sens will finish 5th in the East.
  14. Ottawa (bobkudelski) vs. Chicago (Prodigyof94) CHI 8 @ OTT 2 OTT 8 @ CHI 4
  15. Pittsburgh Chicago Boston Detroit Winnipeg Buffalo LA Calgary Rangers Vancouver Quebec Montreal Toronto Ottawa Philly AIM: BobKudelski26 prefer to be in league A
  16. Anyone catch the Bob Saget roast last week? Norm Macdonald killed at that thing.
  17. He is obviously the man. Heatley said the same thing - specified that it was the SNES version.
  18. EA music is better than most of the fan-made hockey night in canada theme songs they are playing on tv these days.
  19. I like the idea of a season where you have to use a different team against each coach! that would be cool. But my question is this - would you know beforehand what team the other coach is going to use against you? Or do you have to submit a list specifying which team you will use against each coach? That could be interesting. Sorry guys but I dont have time for organizing a league and keeping track. Really appreciate all the work some of you guys put into the leagues though.
  20. I dont know if its possible to use emulators on the wii. I'm sure there's a way if you're into modding. That being said, I don't think we will ever see any EA games on the Wii virtual console. I remember reading about this on another board last year and the conclusion was that the idea of NHL 94 being on the VC was pretty much hopeless. There are a lot of games that can never appear on the VC because of rights issues.
