  1. If memory serves, kingraph was to be commish.. so we kinda need more than just a replacement for the bud of the year.
  2. Wouldn't a cellphone screen be a little too small?
  3. I've been able to play '94 on my Blackberry Playbook - but not with a controller, just touchscreen buttons.
  4. MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
  5. Congrats raph, couldn't happen to a nicer guy. * you guys knew what I meant.
  6. Can we make sure that these guys all have unique numbers? I seem to recall playing someone with two guys who had the same number. I think it was Roenick and Corson... looks like that has been fixed - but let's make sure for the playoff rom.
  7. It's a digital print - I'm pretty sure it wasn't an actual game. I can think of quite a few of these hockey moments that would be worth recreating....
  8. I said it last season, these small draft leagues rock. Interest is high as you can roll right from the draft to "preseason" to playing games. It's the playoffs that everyone wants to play - so a quick regular season sure beats trying to track down 20 other GMs. Great job again, coach.

  12. Ah, don't quit bud. The line-change stuff is new this season - and I know what you mean about sluggish players, but you need to learn to coach it. Set new lines if needed, change on the fly if you can. Both teams are up against the same problem, but between your 2 lines you should never have all players slugged out. Best thing to do is keep your shifts short. If you're not scoring, make sure your goalie holds the puck to get the change. You can also conserve energy by reducing the mashing of the C button for both hitting and speed boost. When we had no line changes, it was just a deke-fest at least now the best players get tired. As for hitting, most of your players are border-line for weight - no real heavies - and with the weight fix, you need some beef to knock guys over. Playing with your team, I'd use the C button to escape checks and the B button to stick check rather than try and knock guys over. Your skill guys in particular, need to avoid being demolished. Play some exis to get this stuff ironed out, then show us your moves.
  13. Been saving a few games, but certainly not 100%. Can say that I've got a goal from Cheveldae!

  19. We're in the midst of another small '93 league with 8 coaches (up from 6). The draft took a week and we're already playing the season. Maybe smaller leagues should be an option.
  20. Weight difference, speed and timing seem to be what determines an injury. I usually find that my guys get hurt when I try to get to fancy skating in for a deke. As for the period/game injury, I do believe that's totally random.
