The schedule is time-release so people tend to have around the same number of games played at all times (or so the theory goes). Games are released in divisions, and pairs of games at a time, so I think we start with 2 games each against 6 opponents in the other conference? Something like that. You end the season with 3rd and 4th games against the guys in your own division, to make the last games more meaningful.

I'm replacing 2 coaches, maybe 3. Coaches Out Logan quit, leaving Toronto without a coach. mlnewc (BOS) lives 8 time zones away, making it pretty much impossible for him to play games. Sorry mlnewc, it just looks like the time difference is too much to overcome. I think you should try the Capitalism III league, though, since there are like 40 coaches there and it doesn't really matter how many games you play, so it'll work better for you. Reportedly your computer is toast these days, but you have a work laptop, and are often online on AIM, yet you almost never answer my messages, so I am a bit confused. If you can get in 15 games by next Tuesday, you can stay, but otherwise I'm giving Detroit to Kazelegend15.

They can't have the same IP at the same time, unless they are on a) the same computer or b ) different computers on the same router. About routers, it's possible to have a case where one person is 'stealing' a wireless connection from the other, or both stealing from a 3rd party, giving them the same IP address at the same time. However, it is quite possible to have the same IP address at different times. IP addresses are not constant forever. What are the times on the conflicting IP addresses? Same day, or weeks/months apart? My IP address stays the same for months at a time, but occasionally changes (maybe when my cable modem gets reset?). It is a possibility that two people using the same internet provider in the same general region can end up having the same IP address at different times.

I find they don't one-time if you use the right bumper. Maybe you have to hold it down until they receive it? I haven't tried that, but I know if you pass it then hit right bumper (and let go) before it gets to them, it has no effect If you do the stick flick, they actually one-time it. In fact, they'll attempt to one-time it even if the pass is totally off, no where near them, making them look kinda odd :/

For those having trouble picking up assists, I found out that you can force your teammates to do one-timers by doing the 'shoot' action (flicking the right stick or pressing the shoot button) when the puck is on the way to them.

Well, that was unexpected. I kept waiting for the Wings to turn it on and dominate.. but the attack zone was all Leafs in the 3rd. Don Cherry said after that he thinks they have a shot at the playoffs. I guess they do have a decent defensive team, with Toskola, Kaberle, Kubina, Van Rynn, Coliacovo, Schenn.. no clue if i spelled half of those right...

I've opened up the schedule so all games are playable. This should make it quite easy to get at least 12 games in by the first checkpoint (tuesday oct 14th).

In the Blitz league, the trade limit is 6 players traded away or dropped to free agency. So if you trade 2 players for 2 players, that's 2/6 of your trades gone. You also can't re-acquire a guy you got rid of (no Muller Fiasco of GDL 2). I think trades are necessary in GDL.. for example, I screwed up my draft this season thinking I had the 72nd pick overall, when I actually had the 91st, so I ended up with Boo-urke in net. Having the option to try to fix my mistake through trades was good. I was just too lazy to bother I'll practice my goalie control this season, I guess!
