There will be 4 divisions as there were in 1994. Each team will play 6 games. You will play every team in your division once. The Western Conference, because they have 2 fewer teams, will play one team from the opposing division. After that is over, the top 4 teams from each division will play single elimination games to determine a champion. However, differing from the real NHL, it will be cross-conference. For example, the #1 seed in the Patrick Division will play the #4 seed in the Smythe, and the winner of that game will play the winner of the game which matches the #2 seed in the Norris vs the #3 seed in the Adams. I totally agree. Players have absolutely no respect for each other these playoffs. Shanahan made an awful mistake by not suspending Weber after game 1 of Preds-Wings. That was one of the most flagrant headshots I've ever seen. Slamming someone's head to the boards with an open fist has no place in hockey. Other teams noticed, and now it seems like everyone's competing to see who can make the dirtiest hits. Kind of strange timing, considering that last month the New Orleans Saints came under fire in the NFL for a "bounty" system (paying players extra for causing injuries)... It looks pretty obvious that players around these playoffs are specifically trying to injure guys on the other team, and coaches are encouraging it.

houly, i like playing you in exis and chatting on aim but you gotta calm down! a player with class will finish out the game no matter how much he's losing by. i guess some guys still have the 12 year old mentality and don't know how to handle losing. by the same token, if somebody quits on you like that you just gotta take the high road, say "gg", and move on. the main point is, we're not playing for millions of dollars like guys in the NHL. we're just playing to have fun. if you take things too seriously, you'll take the fun out of the game and you'll be the one to get banned.

iceguy did that to me during survivor playoffs. total a-hole move. i didn't really care that much because i won.

haha The plural thing is a good point. For example, "They were off-sides" and "He was off-side" Additionally, I believe "Off-Sides" is the noun and "Off-Side" is the adjective form. If you're describing a goal or a player, you'd say "Off-Side" But if you're talking about the general idea of it, you'd say "Off-Sides" Keep in mind with the Kerry Fraser thing, he's not writing those quotes. The guy who does transcription could be writing it the way he thinks of it and leaving off the last "s" in some cases. I could be wrong. The only books I ever read as a kid was the NHL '94 User Manual & Strategy Book.
