  6. I'm looking for a right-handed starting forward. Possibly a 1-for-1 deal for Steve Thomas. My 7th round pick is coming up soon, which could be part of a deal. IM or PM me.
  7. I'm still at my office, working. Wish I was home playing NHL '94, but it's one of those nights. Here's instructions on getting started: http://nhl94online.com/html/getting-started.php Post your AIM screen name here in the message boards. Then add guys from the Genesis leagues: http://nhl94online.com/html/standings.php?lg=11&sublg=GENS-B B is a good place to start because the guys are experienced and active. C is mostly new guys, and A is the best players.
  8. welcome aboard! post your AIM screen name and hit me up for an exhibition.
  9. Awesome. Jay's designs were indeed tit-tickling and I hope he doesn't mind that I completely stole his color gradient. Teamwork makes the dream work! I'm kind of a perfectionist, so I see some little things I can fix. For now I'm just gonna leave it be. Once they're up on the blitz website, I'll have a better idea of spacing and can do some correction.
  10. 96 x 96: 48 x 48: 20 x 20: This is my best shot so far... the 20x20 is a tough little guy, but if you like the basic idea I can go in with my scalpel and do some fine pixel surgery.
  11. Yes. I did it really quickly so it's very rough around the edges. I'm about to work on the Cup image... stay tuned.
  12. I'll be around this weekend, Friday and Saturday I'll be home watching sports on TV from 7-11pm est. Whats a good time for you RWD?
  13. sorry for the gilmourgasm. won't happen again
  14. Oh man, after watching that video it's amazing that Gilmour does so many classic NHL '94 moves... the crease cutter, the give-and-go, the deke, the insane wrap-around, the one-timer in the slot, the classic goal celebration, the pass from the corner, the pass from behind the net, the check after the whistle, the check against the boards... he even sends a guy heads-over-heels in open ice! (which is a classic '94 animation but you almost never see in real hockey). it starts repeating clips at 4:00, but they are damn good clips! i love this game!
  15. With the #22 draft pick in the Blitz 07 Draft, the Toronto Ganja Leafs select Killer Doug Gilmour #93 :: the crowd goes wild ::
  16. Man... leave your computer for 7 hours and things actually start happening! (sometimes) Those early red/blue stars were ripped directly off an NHL '94 screenshot. Personally, I love Jay's star design. I'm gonna try to incorporate that light / dark gold color gradient for an updated icon with the Cup of Lord Stanley Ga. Unfortunately, I can't work on it tonight. Big school projects due tomorrow and Monday.
  17. From Google Dictionary: blitz noun (pronounced blits) An intensive or sudden military attack A sudden, energetic, and concerted effort, typically on a specific task - a major press blitz A charge of the passer by the defensive linebackers just after the ball is snapped The German air raids on Britain in 1940 A form of chess in which moves must be made at very short intervals
  18. Raph and I are good to go tonight. Jay says he's in, so that leaves Frey. I'd prefer after the Rangers game (like 10ish EST).
  19. I have a question about trades: Let's say I trade a player for a draft pick... does that mean the other manager would also need to use a protect pick on the player they just traded for?
