I love minor league hockey, and this template is perfect for the ever-changing rosters which I enjoy updating. The things you guys do with graphics blow me away. Thank you!

Current working ROM is here: AHL_24_beta_05.bin So incredibly grateful for the pixel Picasso @von Ozbourne and @smozoma's help. This could be a good base for anyone looking to complete an AHL ROM.

The link I gave has DOSBox and is configured to work on modern computers.

I took some time to create a cover page that pays homage to the original. I will redo the AHL shield as I realized that an older logo that I just stuck in there. But anyway, more progress on this ROM. I'll post the template once all the team logos are incorporated.

Hey guys I'm turning to the pc experts for this one. How are you guys playing the DOS 94/95 versions of this game on win 10 / 11 ? It used to work flawlessly without any work on win 7 . However I've recently been forced to upgrade. The downloadable executable we all use from a popular site won't work with the vanilla operating systems of win 10 / 11. Any help or suggestions from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately it's way above my head. It took me awhile to piece together a working version for my own PC. From what I gather it may have to do with one of the Windows Updates. I think I played a handful of games and am over it for the time being lol.

Also heads up if you didn’t see, the image importer is working for 32 teams now, so re-alphabetizing when Utah comes to town should be a little easier.

@Sean Oh man, that sounds like a great idea! I'd love to see some of the more recent teams retro-ed to 1994. Way beyond the sort of thing I was thinking of, but I like it very much. I'm really only looking to do a gameplay mod. I could hypothetically make it restrictively accurate to '94, but I'm increasingly thinking that I should go about 80% of the way there, then get it out there as early as I can to collect feedback. If I ask these hypothetical questions, I'm going to get feedback from the designers and modders like you an VonOz, but a lot of average users aren't as sure as to what they like (and dislike) until they play it.

Dropping here since it’s closest thread - would it be feasible to make it so a road team’s goal song plays when they score in place of the boo?

It’s a heavier lift than what you’re proposing from a hacking standpoint and also somewhat covered by JKline/VO’s hack, but for a “classic” version I’ve always thought something with 1994 branding for all of the teams where it is possible would be cool. Just to double down on the throwback nature.
